Teacher Steals and eBays Student's Jacket
Elizabeth Logan, a 41 year-old first grade teacher in Hillsboro, OR, is facing felony charges for allegedly putting a student's winter jacket up for sale on eBay. The poor kid came home one cold day in January to tell mom that she lost her nice Columbia Tectonite Hooded Ski Jacket. Rather than buy a new one, mom checked eBay for a cheap replacement. To her surprise, she found an auction for a jacket matching the description of her daughter's and -- wouldn't you know -- the auction was originating in Hillsboro that very day. Mom contacted the authorities, and Logan was arrested. No word on the whereabouts of the jacket now, but the remains of the auction can be seen above in the image.
