New LCD-Screen Microscope Makes For Better Specimen-Viewing
Who can remember Biology 101, where you and a lab partner had to take turns squinting through the tiny eyepiece on a microscope, straining to see the blurry outlines of amoeba? Optics-maker Celestron has an interesting solution to this old and frustrating problem, combing a traditional microscope with an LCD screen. (Why didn't we think of that?)
