Best. Shower. Ever.

Best. Shower. Ever.

Look, we like showering as much as the next guy, but we yearn for something newer, more exciting, shinier, and horrendously more expensive in the personal hygiene world. That's why we got so excited when we saw the Aquapeutics Luxury Steam Shower U6810.

Now, we're sure some of you are wondering, "What absurd contraptions could possibly be crammed into that thing that looks like a suspended-animation pod from a crappy sci-fi movie?" Well, we'll tell you. It has: its own water heater (in case your household one isn't powerful enough); a touch-screen, waterproof TV; a waterproof MP3 sound system; a powerful steam generator; overhead lights; "acupuncture" massage jets (does it shoot water out hard enough to break the skin?); in-tub massage jets, like a jacuzzi; a foot massager; underwater LED lights; and a self-cleaning sterilization mode. Oh, and a shower head.

And imagine, you can climb inside this human-scale dishwasher for only $4,300. The downside is that this thing uses so much power you might need a small nuclear generator in your backyard just to run it. [From: DVICE]

Introducing the $2.5 Million iPhone 3G

A new iPhone 3G has been unleashed on the world, but before you camp outside your nearest retailer for two weeks in the rain, there's one thing you should know -- it costs $2.5 million.

The King's Button iPhone 3G, designed by Peter Aloissonis, is probably the world's most expensive iPhone for these reasons:
  • The main button is actually a 6.6 Carat diamond
  • The casing is made of 18 Carat Yellow Gold, White Gold and Rose Gold
  • The border around the phone consists of 138 finely cut diamonds.
While we see this as the epitome of excess, we understand it's probably just right for some people. We call them "rappers." For more expensive phones, check out our gallery below. [From: Walyou]

Diamond-Encrusted Espresso Machine for the Rich and Tasteless

Diamond Encrusted Espresso Machine for the Rich and Tasteless
If you've been wondering what to get your rich, caffeine-addicted, bling-loving uncle for his birthday, we've got the perfect gift. Feast your eyes on the Nespresso Crystal Edition coffee machine. This decadent espresso making machine is encrusted with 3,100 Swarovski crystals, which have apparently become little more than accessories for gadgets.

For almost $4,000 you get what appears to be a decent, if more or less pedestrian espresso machine:

- cup warmer in aluminum
- removable grill for the preparation of Latte Macchiato
- automatically remove of used capsules
- illuminated collecting pan for used capsules
- high pressure pump with 19 bar
- electronic temperature control (Thermoblock)
- removable water tank
- automatic functions. Choose with one push at a button between Espresso and Lungo.

The only thing that sets this apart from the pack is the unbelievably gaudy crystal facade.

This 17,000 Watt Car Stereo Turns Car Into Jell-O

What happens when you cram 17,000 watts of pure audio power into a 2006 Ford Expedition? Apparently, it makes the whole thing bounce and shake like a giant slab of SUV-shaped Jell-O, or, as TechEBlog points out, an earthquake. Just watch the video as his 22-speaker sound system makes his iPod dance and the roof shudder like flag in the wind. This guy should be hired by the Pentagon to head up its aural warfare project, since his new car kit is certainly a weapon of mass destruction.

And if watching this guy re-enact the classic Maxell Tape commercial wasn't intense enough, you can also head on over to his YouTube Channel where there's a video featuring speakers that rip his ceiling panel out.
