PlayStation 3 On Your Cell Phone?

During Sony's E3 media briefing, Sony EVP Phil Harrison revealed that 'Home' would expand beyond the console and into your social life. Holding his cell phone, Harrison snapped a shot of the crowd. He coyly put the phone back in his pocket and continued on with new game announcements.
A few minutes later, Harrison returned to his virtual apartment in 'Home.' On the wall was a framed picture of the audience -- the same picture he took a few minutes previously. Then, he took a picture in the 'Home' environment of the picture on his wall (stay with us here). Instantly, that picture was uploaded to his web-based 'Home' profile on another screen.
Get your mind around that one. This means that not only will 'Home' come to cell phones, but it will allow you to participate in the PlayStation Network even when you're away from your console.
When 'Home' was announced a few months ago, it was a simple virtual space similar to Second Life or Sims Online that would allow players to create avatars and interact with one another. After today, it's a social space that, if you choose, follows you out the front door.
