Mini Movie Moments on Your Cell
Your cell phone carrier's video offerings just got a little more cinematic this morning, with Universal Studios announcing it's now streaming clips of its most famous movies to cell phones. Called Movie Minutes, they're basically couple-minute highlights of the best parts of Universal's extensive back catalog, like the food fight in 'Animal House' or the T-Rex fight in 'King Kong.' The videos are served by mobile content provider I-play and are available now on Sprint, Verizon and Amp'd Mobile and are launching on "other major US carriers imminently." So, if you already subscribe to Sprint's Vision or Verizon's V CAST, you might just be able to enjoy a little toga party action on your way to work this morning.
