Hot Seat: Should TV Pundits Come Clean? (Politics Daily)

May 20th 2008 1:40PM Anyone who listens to a talking head on TV for their advice on who to vote for gives up their liberty and gets what they deserve. Unfortunately the rest of us also have to pay. People should get off their lazy asses and read positions by candidates and decide for themselves. I cannot find any position papers from Obama that are not platitudes and doublespeak so I cannot understand why all these "newspeople" are praising him. The only reason I can assume is that they are pandering to certain demographics who use TV as their main form of entertainment. I am not predjudiced (if anything far from it) but the reason seems obvious to me. All we can hope is that McCain wins, we have four more years of misery, then Hillary runs again and we get back on course.

Hot Seat: Greatest Threat to Obama? (Politics Daily)

Apr 24th 2008 10:25AM I would vote for Oboma if I knew where he stood on the issues. He gives fancy speaches but they seem to be filled with no substantive solutions. He keeps most of his life a secret and quite frankly he scares me. He talks about change over and over but what exactly is he changing. Rhetoric is all well and good but where are the position papers. At least Hillary outlines her plans good or bad.

JetBlue May Add In-Flight Text-Messaging (Switched)

Apr 29th 2007 1:23PM As someone that flies 3 times a week I can tell you that I would not like to see all the idiots up there calling some idiot on the ground yelling "guess where I'm calling from". I see enough of it waiting to board the plane. Texting would be fine except we all know the minute cell phones are allowed to be left on during flight incoming calls would start ad nauseum. And lets not forget about all the "entitled" who would make voice calls.

Boycott Rosie? (AOL Video Blog)

Apr 26th 2007 2:51PM Rosie is a disgusting excuse for a human being. She spews hatred and probably hates herself. I hear what she says and cannot believe anyone would take her seriously. I wouldnt piss on her leg if she was on fire.

Southwest vs. JetBlue: Battle of the Brands (BloggingStocks)

Apr 26th 2007 2:26PM I do not understand why a person would work for any job they disliked. If a flight attendant is an unhappy employee he (she) makes the whole company look bad. As a frequent flier on JetBlue and an occassional (last resort) SW flier I can say crews on both are generally friendly and helpful. When I fly a "unionized" airline I get either a hag or fag with nasty attitude. If you don't like what you do QUIT OR MOVE. A little loyalty to the hand that feeds you please.

Southwest vs. JetBlue: Battle of the Brands (BloggingStocks)

Apr 19th 2007 2:46PM As a frequent flier (50 times a year on business) I would never fly southwest unless they were the only airline going to a destination. I prefer not to have to run down the jetway with a bunch of yahoos vying for a seat. Doesn't anyone see the ludicrous situation at southwest where they make passengers stand in line for the honor of an aisle seat? As soon as one person stands (which could be an hour before the flight) all the sheeple get up too. Jet Blue at least assigns seats and if you look at their overheads they are more than ample for carry-ons. Southwest seats are 2/3 the size of Jet Blues. I also do not like having to make 3 stops to get halfway across the country ( a fact most of you maybe enjoy?) There is a reason Southwest has more first time flyers and a lower retention rate of repeat fliers than jet blue. If they fly the same route there is no comparison.

Cell phones wiping out bee populations: Will your mobile be the next SUV? (BloggingStocks)

Apr 19th 2007 2:32PM This statement can neither be proved nor disproved but do you really think people are going to give up cell phones? Do you think Paris Hilton can live without one? Lets face it. Until and unless something directly impacts you personally and until it cant be reversed we seem not to care.

Would you rather make $200K in NY, or $100K in Cleveland? (BloggingStocks)

Sep 19th 2006 8:47AM I live in NYC and have visited Cleveland numerous times. Conclusion: I would rather make $5.50 an hour in NYC then 500K in Cleveland.

Project Genesis Will Be The World's Largest Cruiseship (Luxist)

Mar 1st 2006 1:56PM I think making ships larger and larger will adversely effect the ports of call visited. Small Carribean Islands are already choking. This is the homoginization of what was a luxury travel vacation. Do we really need to declasse cruising?
