Al-Jazeera Anchorwomen Quit After 'Offensive' Comments About Their Non-Conservative Clothing, Makeup, Uncovered Hair (Stylelist)

Jun 2nd 2010 8:33AM In all honesty these women look fine for American viewing audiences. Well groomed, tastefully dressed, moderate makeup and they make a great appearance for viewers in most parts of the world. People in the middle east tend to look at the female gender in an entirely different manner and one that would NOT be acceptable in western culture. No question about it...the western culture is far more in sync to worldwide viewing than is the middle eastern way.

Sarah Palin Tells NRA Convention Obama Would Ban Guns if He Could (Politics Daily)

May 14th 2010 9:35PM it is clear that Obama and his followers have a socialist agenda and will use whatever means they can to manipulate the Consitution and the Bill of Rights to accomplish his objectives. Without question, an armed population poses at threat to the enforcement of his agenda. Among other things the Second Amendment was intended to provide citizens of a democratic society an option to regaining control of a government that oppresses its people. An armed citizenry poses no threat to a government that is under the control of the people in which that government is subservient. This very concept is foreign to the current prevalent liberal idiology that controls this government at present. It is clear that the people of the US have become subservient to those who control the government that was intended by the Founding Fathers to be accountable to the people.

Crist Says He Won't Run as an Independent if He Loses Florida Primary Race (Politics Daily)

Mar 28th 2010 4:58PM While I voted for Crist and in some ways I placed my confidence and trust in him, I think that he is an opportunist like so many other politicians. Less than one full term and the guy is ready to jump ship and run for the senate. Frankly, I think that Crist is toast as his vacillation as to his political posturing makes me wonder how long it would take him to drop the Senate gig and run for President. And...in my opinion this guy is not presidential material.

Most Believe Obama Has Not Spent Enough Time on the Economy (Politics Daily)

Feb 10th 2010 8:21PM America needs far less of Obama and his followers and more of the will of the people

Tea Party Is Seen by Majority of Voters As a Serious and Not a Fringe Group (Politics Daily)

Feb 6th 2010 8:03AM There is not a chance in hell that the events since the last election will not signficantly impact on the mid-term elections and the liberals know it. The insightful ones recognize this and are distancing themselves from the likes of Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Schumer etc. Obama is destined to become a lame-duck president until the end of his term. Good riddance!

Report: Lou Dobbs Left CNN for $8 Million Good Reasons (PopEater)

Nov 17th 2009 6:10AM Lou.....I believe that Fox News is waiting on you.

They have the best news anchors anywhere. The ONLY times I watched CNN was to watch Lou Dobbs! Am looking forward to seeing Lou do what Greta Van Susteren, Geraldo Rivera, Glenn Beck and many othes have done. This is not to totally disparage the likes of Wolf Blizer and others but FOX is where its at. You can pretty much flush the rest.

Ad Rant: Halls Refresh gets fresh in the dorms (WalletPop)

Nov 10th 2009 9:12PM Well after viewing the commercial I just think that it's stupid . Nothing more.

Schumer Predicts Dems Will Have the Votes on Health Care Reform (Politics Daily)

Oct 25th 2009 5:14PM Schumer is at the top of the list of flaming liberals. This wealthy liberal wants the American people at large to pay for healthcare for the indigent, the unworthy and the illegals in America. This is clearly not what the American people want. The public option is a joke and nothing more than those who are hard working people paying for the healthcare of those who slipped into this country illegally and who damn sure never belonged here in the first place. Members of Congress have their own health care system and would never belong to the very plan that they are proposing across the spectrum of the American people.

Barbara Walters Says Paula Deen Makes Kids Fat (ParentDish)

Sep 25th 2009 5:08PM Help me now to understand this scenario. Barbara Walters is wolfing down the delights that Paula Deen has brought along from her kitchen to share with the other not-so-lightweights with her gathering. Barbara is stuffing her face as she condemns children eating similar foods and being the products of childhood obesity. Whoopie is munching on some version of chicken and the group as a whole is berating obesity. Something is wrong with this picture and I am not sure that it is Paula Deen who is the culprit. I don't seen anyone shoving fattening foods in these womens mouths. They did it on their own volition. Barbara, lets not be running down people while you are indulging yourself.

Do You Have a Toxic Job? (AOL Jobs)

Sep 24th 2009 8:58AM In 2007 I was tickled to take a job as VP of a larger regional bank in an area of my speciality. It carried great benifits and a six figur salary and they were going to pay for my 100 mile relocation etc. My boss flew down from Charlotte,NC to Tampa and with one senior level banker we quickly jumped in the bankers Mercedes and made our way to a great local restaurant where the interview took place. I never did get to see the surrounding workplace until after I had taken and started the job.
Upon starting I realized that although my office was on the 18th floor of this downtown hi rise there were few offices filled on this floor. Essentially this place like you might expect to find at lunch time when the office was only 15-20% occuppied. I had no electronic floor level key to get to my my office and had no computer. When calling my boas he made some excuses like saying it was in route. When I had initally interviewed parking was in this downtown building but after I took the job soon discovered that no parking was provided and that I would have to park at a downtown parking garage some 3 blocks away at an additional cost to me of $86.00 a month. I showed up daily and realized that I had no secretarial help as the only secretary available was in a contiguous department. Although we got along I realized that she was in fear of her job as others around her had left for undisclosed reasons. As I looked around I realized that even this contiguous department had less than a handful of people but I did manage to strike up a relationship with Bill who had similar responsibilies as I did albeit in a related unit. I knew that this place was a real clusterf**k went I presented a no brainer piece of business to my superior thinking that it was a real winner in this start up section of the bank. The deal was a quality transaction on a good piece of real estate with excellent sponsorship. Upon submitting it you would have thought that I had committed a cardinal sin by quoting this business before the prospective client in terms of general range and tentative acceptabilty pending the final inking of the deal. I felt like a whipped dog when I was chastised in spite of the fact that I have over 20 years in a similar line of business.

The whole thing came to closure when an attractive blonde had called me on my phone from HR asking to come up and see me. I quickly agreed thinking that it was related to my benifits package etc. She came to my office and closed the door, sat down and suggested that we call my bosses boss in Charlotte, NC , a man who I had never met. When he got on the line the phone was on speaker and he simply said " Its not working out" to which I replied ....'what is not working out ...I have only been here two months, had attempted to prospect with vitually every living soul in the Central Florida area for new business and since this was a start-up unit with this bank it was like pushing an 18 wheeler up the Rocky Mountains."

The pretty blonde handed me a severance package I reviewed it an within an hour I had packed up my personal effects and left. My colleague Bill and I continued to stay in touch until he one day simply walked out the door.
