Directing Gigs: McG to Helm 'Ouija,' While Paul Greengrass May Tackle 'Cleopatra' (Moviefone Blog)

Jan 7th 2011 2:46AM Yep, Hollywood already made a "Clue" 'movie' but I wouldn't be too surprised to see them do a remake. (The only thing I liked about "Clue" was all the alternate endings they had in it.) It seems to be what Hollywood does now- remake movies, some of which weren't very good in the first place. That or make sequels to really old movies from 10 or more years ago.

Father Cutie presents his baby daughter and his 'Dilemma' (Celestrellas)

Dec 31st 2010 1:12AM Gee, Kelly, thanks for such a harsh negative attiitude because I misread something. By the way, I realized my mistake after my comment was posted. And I wasn't judging anymore than anyone else on this comment board (or any other on AOL). Besides, the baby is about a month old, not almost 2 like you said. So before harping on me over my reading skills, take a math lesson or two.

Father Cutie presents his baby daughter and his 'Dilemma' (Celestrellas)

Dec 30th 2010 10:37PM the funny thing is that they were married in june of 2009 and had their baby in november of 2009. please tell me that i am not the only one to catch that? she was already pregnant when they got married. yes, i know that is not unusual these days HOWEVER if they are truly religious/ good christians they would have waited until they were properly married before having sex, wouldn't they? odd that a man of the cloth would overlook that part of the Bible yet worry about being a priest in love with a woman and what his family would think of his relationship with her...

Breast-Feeding Moms Protest Restaurant (ParentDish)

Jul 22nd 2010 1:04AM @Verbatim--- I'm from the area and I can tell you this much, you need a map buddy. This took place in Newport KENTUCKY so yes, Kentucky law does very much apply here.

I'm a mom who breastfeeds and I know there are only 2 states in America that do not have any laws protecting a mother's right to breastfeed her child. And to those of you who think that a mother should go into a bathroom to breastfeed, why don't you eat your next meal there? It is a germ-filled place and I wouldn't want to eat in a bathroom so why should my son? On the rare occasion that I've had to nurse my son in public I've used a cover, not to avoid offending someone but to give my little boy some privacy while he enjoys his meal. Yes even that has made some people uncomfortable-- I've had men stare at me trying to see if they could see my breasts and one man was so nervous about it he looked away in every other direction possible. With a cover no one but the baby sees the mother's breasts. Get over yourselves its the most natural way of feeding a child, its what breasts were meant for! Its why women have them!

Red Bull Diet Led to Heart Attack for Young Mom (That's Fit)

May 29th 2009 7:08PM I doubt that she was breastfeeding her kid. There's a link that takes you to a full article and it states in there that he son is now 4 years old. So basically she was trying to lose weight for 4 years and decided to be an idiot and only consume energy drinks and a handful of cereal. Read into it, she practically starved herself to death.

Wii-Deprived Kid Kidnaps Himself, Demands Ransom From Parents (Switched)

Aug 4th 2008 5:02PM What a little brat! That's the problem with kids today. They almost always get what they want from their parents, so when Mom and Dad finally say no, they kids go ballistic. For the love of God, and yourselves, don't be afraid to tell little Johnny and little Susie no once in a while. And please spank them from time to time when they step out of line. It may be difficult to do at first, but later on you'll thank yourself and the world will thank you too. If you don't, you just might end up with a brat with pulls some crap stunt like this, if not worse. Think about the little brat that hired a hitman... We should all be glad that it was an undercover cop. Could you imagine what would have happened had it been a real hired killer? *shudders* Kids need to be told no and give boundaries and lots of discipline. We grew up with being told no to each and every want and whim and we were spanked and we're just fine, so it stands to reason that today's kids will be fine too.

Absurd product warnings: Are we really that dumb? (WalletPop)

Jul 24th 2008 8:36PM It is so sad that so many of our everyday products must have warning labels on them. I'm just curious about one thing: On my curling iron, there is a warning to no use it while sleeping. Who in the heck curls their hair while they are asleep? Seriously, how dumb has the human race become? What about the silliness of the credit card offer I got in the mail the other day. It came with a CARDBOARD card with a bogus name and numbers on it, including the warning that it was not an actual card. No duh! All these warnings are defeating the survival of the fittest. Let the stupid people go away, please.

Spokesperson fiasco #18: UNICEF Belgium and the Smurfs (BloggingStocks)

Jul 17th 2008 11:07PM Oh...my...God! To think that someone would want to do that to a children's cartoon! What kind of people would do that sort of thing? That is so horrible! Those poor children that watched that, their beloved cartoon creatures being maimed like that. I hope that not too many children, especially very young ones, saw this pitiful excuse for a commercial. There are much better ways to get across the point of war/violence happening anywhere than to use a children's cartoon show characters! I just don't see what makes this such a great commercial in the eyes of some people.
