How about teaching our kids to abstain from Sex, how bout getting a set of moral values and not have pre marital sex? did you ever think of that?
You can all disagree with me, call names, make fun of My God and my religious and moral convictions. But mark my words, and take time to remember this as it will come to pass.
The day you stand before God ( and everyone will) you will have to tell him why you murdered a child. You will then cry out ... "Well everyone said abortion was okay" Then I will guarantee things will get very hot very fast!

Jun 11th 2008 11:45AM Michael, That was an interesting story, and not to sound paranoid but I think it was a plan by the dems to make people rethink which political party they should support, kind of like back in t68 when a lot of dems switched to republican...
The dems know that everyone is hurting with the economy and are trying to make the republicans out to be tyrants.......
I don't want Obamma as president as he will ruin the country so will billary.
This is what will sway the votes, how the subject of the economy will be answerd in deabat and campaign speeches.

I am a firm supporter of the 1st amendment rights and all rights as defined by the constitution and local and state and even federal laws.
A revolt although sounds good, A lot of people are brave and make rantings of "revolts" "Protests" and the like but are NEVER brave enough to stand up and say "I'll leat the fight"
If everyone would get thier heads out of the sand and look around you will see that America... the great melting pot needs to skim some slag off the steel it is combining to repair the fabric of our country!
We need to stand UNITED in a cause, the big coorprate businesses run the nation not the people.. Why? Good question..... Because the people take it and they know it, they outsourse our jobs to third world countries... we just say.. oh well I will get another job... They give all of our jobs to people form other countries.. and we say Ohhh they can do it better than us...
High gas prices are killing our economy.. killing us. there are so many people now who cannot even afford to feed thier kids!
It would be a beautiful thing it the nation as a whole just came to a halt united in one cause but it would have to be for more than one day. One day would make no impact just a little wrinkle, you don't want a wrinkle you want a Tsunami. One week.. that is what it would take! the truckers stop where they are, ships, planes railroads coud just stop running. But again.. this would only hurt the working class citizens, they would loose money, they would loose thier homes and jobs... They would starve. So if there is a better way to acomplish the needed boycott I would be happy to listen. It defeats the purpose of a boycott if you stock up on supplies and fill your tank with gas as well as gas cans.

Jun 11th 2008 10:25AM Who gives a rip about Spain or France... I say screw them! What I care about is the AMERICAN truck driver.. Although most of them are inconsiderate asses the majority are hard working people who support a family!
HOWEVER Everyone has to remember that they get compisated.. Yeah diesel is up but guess what... the trucking companies raise shipping rates to recoup fuel costs, I understand that. But what everyone is not seeing is the price of groceries and clothing going up so the retail stores and markets can recoup the added cost of shipping.
Here is what would reduce "shipping costs" Ship it by rail! Have LOCAL truckers make shorter trips for deliveries from the rail depot! Pay the truck drivers more money so they do not have to rely on mileage pay to liveable wages.

The problem is with the parents, it filters down to the kids, the parents in my opinion are without standards and lack moral fiber!
This also has to do with the degredation of todays society, U-Tube encourages this type of behavior, and condones it by allowing people to post it on the web sites. Honestly some of the acts on U tube qualify as domestic terrorism. Any act of violence or mayhen should be investigated. I would love to see some of these punks soil themselves when a Federal agent shows up at mommie and daddies house to question them!

Jan 21st 2008 3:09PM I chew ice because I LIKE to chew ice, I am NOT iron deficiant. I am in great health. It is NOT always a medical issue.. now when I was a kid I had a friend who ate his boogers, I would say that was a medical condition..or one straaaannnnge kid.

Jan 14th 2008 3:18PM HA HA This was funny, I do most of those things.. Children are a gift from God, and all those moments should be cherished.
Just think of the memories you will have once they grow up and leave you.... I have three sons, 16,13, and 3. Raising the 3 year old brings back memories of of raising his brothers. Good times or bad I look back on those days with fond memories, all the times I slept in a chair in thier rooms when they were sick or scared of the monster in the closet.. and the few times they had to spend in the Hospital and gave me a few more gray hairs.. and how I still wake up in the middle of the night and make sure they are covered up and warm.
I wish they could stay little forever....... This time you got it from a dads prospective..:)

Or mom looks and finds booze bottle lets kid go out and drink, drive and kill himself and friends and a totally innocent person possibly another teen or someones mom or dad who does not drink and is just trying to live thier life??
I side with the Mom on this one, and applaud her for taking the interest in her kids life! In my opinion she is an outsanding mother, that does not leave the raising of her son to the "village" or ot the judicial system.
I would rather have my sons mad at me and alive than dead or in jail. Yes kids are gonna break the rules after all they are kids, they will do this, BUT responsible parents keeping watch over thier kids will help keep them in line!
I say good for you Lady! and to the son.. GROW UP nad thank your mom for loving you enough to stop you from ruining your life!
