Jan 26th 2009 12:14PM Well said! Why should the taxpayers pay for this monster's food, water, ac, healthcare? Kill him like the animal he is. Shoot him and charge the family for the bullet. If you can't use criminals for something worthwhile then take them out with the garbage. In the US taxpayers have paid out too much for inmates. I say kill them and be done with it! There wouldn't be any repeat arrests for assault and rape, gang drive-bys. They would just be used for fertilizer! In my opinion being a gang member should allow a cop to shoot you in the street and execute you. I don't care what the excuse is.

Jan 23rd 2009 1:52PM I agree, and not every woman is meant to be a mother. Too bad people don't think about this BEFORE they have kids. I don't like children at all and want nothing to do with them. I'm a woman who can't stand kids and I'm tired of people having a problem with that. Not all men like kids so the gender bias crap needs to stop.

Jan 21st 2009 10:24AM I don't know about you but the last thing I want is the government to oversee what I'm eating. The government can't enforce immigration laws, oversee port security, keep Medicare/Medicaid solvent, keep Social Security from going under (the steal from it), and let's not forget identity theft. The office of Homeland Security is unable to investigate ID theft/fraud because the IRS refuses to work with it. Let's see, the government doesn't offer incentives to keep companies in the US instead of going overseas...
Get my point? Next thing you know you'll have cancer when some idiot is appointed the head of the Agricultural Department for American Health. These people get their jobs due to the "good ol' boy" system and not through experience. Obama is an example of this. I just hope he's better than Bush.

Jan 21st 2009 10:16AM I'm really tired of getting food at the grocery store and finding out that it's going to spoil in three days or less! I'm talking about the ridiculously bruised fruit. Does anybody else hate this? I'm fed up with markets trying to sell apricots from Chile at twice what they would cost if they were grown locally. Those things have no flavor and toxic pesticides are used on them. It's illegal to use it in the US but Chile doesn't mind poisoning Americans in a roundabout way. I don't care for produce grown outside of the US in general because you can't oversee how it's grown and harvested.
Why not have more local gardens? I know I'm going to grow my own just for me. I'd kill for a homegrown tomato right now or plum. I can see why people don't eat as healthy as they should. If I had to eat that crap from Chile, Mexico, etc. then I'd start shying from the vegetables and fruits too.
I also don't understand how someone can think the salmon is "wild" when it states that there is dye in the food. That's just gross. I buy farm raised catfish and don't pay near as much. Salmon just tastes strange and I can't eat seafood. Why people would want to eat something that filters its' food is just disgusting. Clams are so nasty and contain so many toxins just because of what we dump into the ocean.

Jan 19th 2009 12:33PM I'm waiting for the next generation to just start having sex in class like the stupid animals they are. If you're going to be stupid enough to do something like that then expect to get caught sooner or later.
I can't believe how dumb today's kids are. They're minors - which means they do NOT have the same rights as adults. Idiots.
What's worse is that these kids won't learn from it. Instead they'll cry to their parents who will always take their side no matter what the child has done and blame the school. People wonder why our educational system is such a joke. This is exactly why.

Jan 19th 2009 12:27PM I agree - If you're too lazy to use CLOTH diapers (which my parents used for me and my sisters) then you should be charged for it. It's bad enough that we have to deal with the ill behaved little monsters in public. If you want to dump a loaded diaper on a sidewalk then you should pay $500 for having a baby and being too lazy to clean up after it. I have no pity for pigs like Travis.
If you don't want to keep cleaning up after you have a kid - then don't have them. It's like the lazy dog owners who just can't pick up their dog's shit.
I've embarrassed a woman at a restaurant for telling her to take her screaming bastard to Chuck E Cheese! NO ONE wants to hear your screaming brat at an upscale restaurant or bar. People will do disgusting things in public if they believe it's acceptable. I say humiliate them and treat them like the animals they are!

Jan 18th 2009 2:02PM I agree! I'm fed up with the stupid "Feed Africa" crap and help a kid for a dollar a day! What about Americans? We've been giving handouts to unproductive countries for DECADES! The rate of HIV infection among black people is on the rise in the US and yet we throw away millions of dollars of HIV meds for African kids who will die anyway? Americans need some serious help here. I say turn off the tap - kick out illegals - kill the criminals (or make them work in the fields) and stop coddling idiots. The only reason any African nation receives aid is because the country has something we want. Oil, diamonds, uranium, etc. That's all they care about. It's why the genocide in Darfur is allowed - there's nothing the US wants from that part of the continent. I'm tired of people who are angry when the US steps in and tries to help out - or the jerks who believe we are obligated to do something and don't!
Talk about getting punished for good deeds. Screw them all - let's keep our country standing. I want to see "Made in the USA" on my clothes again!

Jan 18th 2009 1:52PM I thought we were already. We have to waste money taking care of people from China, Mexico and Thailand. These scumbags come here and run up the cost of living then HMOs and PPOs rip off consumers. You have unhealthy people raising premiums for everybody! Pretty soon our sick care system is going to collapse! Women don't have rights in this country - we can't even have access to affordable birth control for crying out loud!

Jan 14th 2009 8:36AM Those salaries can't be right. I don't know any pharmacist who is making $85,000 a year. They usually pay $100,000 because my last boss made that and he got a $10,000 incentive to work for that company. He was able to work for United Pharmacy and CVS but as a pharmacy tech I was somehow "forbidden" to work with the competition. I also don't know anyone who wants to work for a lousy $22,000 a year - let alone survive on it.

Poverty should NOT be a goal. Besides it would be nice to work for a company that would give you full time hours and benefits instead of ripping you off. Most companies are now discriminating against college students more than ever because they don't want to deal with scheduling conflicts.
I'm flexible with my schedule but I'm not going to quit college for a lousy job with a $22,000 salary when I can attain a job that will pay $60,000 my first year! That's insanity!

Jan 5th 2009 10:28AM I'm a woman and I totally agree! Parenting is the one job you never get a break from. I've yelled at people in restaurants with screaming children. If people are going to speak up against these idiots and let them know their little monster's behavior will not be tolerated, maybe we wouldn't see so many brats in public. If you can afford to eat out you can afford a babysitter for an hour or two. They are the ones who should be forced to deal with their annoying children - not the public. If you didn't want to deal with kids all the time then don't have any! I can't stand stupid parents. It's getting to where I think people should be sterilized if they can't pass a simple parenting test. I can't believe what some "parents" think is acceptable behavior in public.
