Aug 4th 2010 7:06PM It is unfortunate that the Panasonic Lumix GF1 is on the expensive side. Nonetheless I have to say I'm very happy with my purchase. In fact I wish they would have made this camera ten years ago, at the same price (ridiculous I know), because it is a wonderful camera.
Granted I'm using it to take references for fine art projects. As someone stated above, it's probably over kill unless you're an art student, photo enthusiastic, or professional. Buy if you aren't in that category and you want a camera which you can set professional settings on.... and you don't want a camera which is so big, it attracts attention every time you rock out with it (making it impossible to get candid shots), this is a camera you should think about.
