Jesse Helms: Conservative Warrior {Political Machine Blog}
Jul 5th 2008 8:35PM Tommy Christopher you are the most frustratingly dishonest person.
Why in the hell else did you write those lyrics? Come on, what was the reason?
I'm sure like Barack Obama, your motives, ideals and reasons are so far above all of ours that we could not possibly understand them, but just tell us why anyway, just for giggles.
On the bright side honey, dye that hair pink and you could double for Perez. Your journalistic styles and integrity are already close enough.
Obama to Refine Iraq Position {Political Machine Blog}
Jul 5th 2008 2:38PM Obama will refine his position as he realizes that we are going to have to refine Iraqi oil.
Unless of course, there is something farther South on the African continent...buried deep within the earth. Too bad the African countries don't want us exploring down there. What would it take to get them to trust us? I don't know, an African president perhaps?
Jesse Helms: Conservative Warrior {Political Machine Blog}
Jul 5th 2008 2:34PM I do seem to recall someone writing the lyrics to "This Little Light of Mine" in Layne's piece. You know, sort of like a celebration that a bigot was dead. I guess they did not consider that as trashing the dead guy.
As usual, some people go to great lengths to make themselves look good.
Jesse Helms: Conservative Warrior {Political Machine Blog}
Jul 5th 2008 2:00PM Even Perez Hilton was decent about mentioning Helms' death.
It's pretty low when PM is worse than PH.
Of course what do you expect from Wonkette?
Thanks for another viewpoint.
I am certainly no fan of Helms and in fact had more to fear from him than the average American, but really, the Layne piece was just out of bounds.
Obama to Refine Iraq Position {Political Machine Blog}
Jul 5th 2008 1:45PM Hmmmm, seems to me that the only people we can be proud of TODAY is a result of what Obama has done.
Think about that, what actions or activities of Americans exist today that we can be proud of?
You really must be kidding with that one.
Obama to Refine Iraq Position {Political Machine Blog}
Jul 5th 2008 1:44PM Acually Bush really may be a military genius. If you were a crazy dictator, would you want us to come fix YOUR country?
Obama to Refine Iraq Position {Political Machine Blog}
Jul 5th 2008 1:40PM I'd like to see the plans for the 68 military bases or whatever under McCain.
My understanding is that anything we do or plan to do is with the consent of the Iraqi government. In fact, all this arguing may be moot because they may intend to ask us to leave very soon.
Until I see proof, I am going to classify it with the Bush as military genius theory.
'Black National Anthem' Stirs Denver {Political Machine Blog}
Jul 5th 2008 10:50AM She lied.
What an egomaniacal show off.
How embarrassing for her and for Denver and for this country.
Jesse Helms: American Garbage {Political Machine Blog}
Jul 5th 2008 10:14AM Well, let's see.
Jesse Helms was a hater. I'm guessing he still was although the article doesn't mention much past 1972 or so. It doesn't consider time or place or context. It presumes that Jesse Helms never did one good thing in his life. Did Senator Helms ever explain or revise his views? Is something he believed in 1960 enough to make him satanic until the day he died? I don't know. Mr. Layne does not care and is too lazy to even do 5 minutes of research. Would Helms be a hero today had he experienced a deathbed Byrdlike conversion to Obama?
I guess the only way to fix the fact that Jesse Helms was re-elected to the senate over and over and over is to elect a black racist as president...Yeah, that'll fix it. Never mind that he's not even really "black" but just half African. He'll do.
So, Jesse Helms was a hater. Ken Layne is a hater. So let's see if anybody waits a day before writing a vile obituary re Mr. Layne.
Obama to Refine Iraq Position {Political Machine Blog}
Jul 5th 2008 9:16AM The problem with Obama is that he's the epitome of "know it all".
He acted as if he knew everything he needed to know about Iraq. Oh, "HE" would have never voted for the war, no not "HIM" (cue choir HIIIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMMMM).
The more he learns about the situation in Iraq, the more he will revise, and revise, and revise, until he comes up with a plan to keep a presence there for the long term...a plan identical to John McCain's.
If you want to leave Iraq, the only way to do it is the Ron Paul "see ya woudn't want to be ya" way. Just tell the world we don't interfere...and then, get this...DON'T INTERFERE!!!.
Does anyone really believe for one minute Obama will not have troops on the African continent? Seriously, you just can't believe that. The man is half African and very connected to his tribal roots. He is going to station troops on "peacekeeping" missions in Africa. Iraq will seem like the good old days by the time Obama is done.
The Obama supporters are so infatuated with him they can see no wrong. Just wait until he beats you up a few times...no that won't work, they will still love him. We can tell you over and over that he's just no good. No, it's not because he's black, he's just no good. You will still go back to your pimp.
