Why Do So Many Boys Not Care About School? (ParentDish)
May 16th 2011 2:05AM "Could the problem possibly be that the Liberal Agenda and women control the educational system and favor girls and minorities over white males ... YA THINK?"
I can see your problem is that your anti-liberal mindset causes you to fail in environments with advanced education, as it should, and you're being a whiny victim about it.
Why Do So Many Boys Not Care About School? (ParentDish)
May 16th 2011 2:02AM " I'd like to know why it was called "discrimination" when 58% of college grads were men in 1970, but now its ok that 60% of graduates are girls? "
Because there actually was DISCRIMINATION back in 1970, and that discrimination was against women. As in, women being discriminated against getting advanced degrees and then actually using them. Do you want to really argue that there wasn't? It wasn't until the '80s or so that females were truly intergrained into the whole college/professional process. Compared to now, where the majority of women in college is not the result of "discrimination" but choices that males are making, rightly or wrongly. If you want to pretend, have some have, that the current environment, just as it is, is as discriminatory as one where women are sheparded to home economic courses and rebuffed from working as lawyers and doctors, then you have a long way to go. And while I know I'm a guy I doubt you're really a woman.
'The Other Guys' End Credits: Giving a Silly Comedy a Serious Message (VIDEO) (Moviefone Blog)
Aug 13th 2010 12:28AM Crismeg- I'm under 50 and I'm highly confident that I will see my Social Security money. You clearly have no real understanding of how Social Security works. The Trust fund will be solvent for decades.

Aug 13th 2010 12:24AM Dax- Your inability to actually write one sentence shows how we liberals beat you with the facts and the Teabaggers are a bunch of losers.

Aug 13th 2010 12:21AM What a dopey comment. The facts presented here are real. There's a world of difference between entertainers who have earned a spot at the top (and whom you can chooseto ignore) and people who monkey with all of OUR money (in Wall Street) and siphon it off for themselves as they ruin the entire system. Get a clue please.
'Iron Cross' Director's Lawsuit Over Negative Variety Review Highlights Changing Status of Movie Critics (Moviefone Blog)
Mar 18th 2010 12:20AM "Why do so many movies panned by critics become box-office blockbusters? Anyone who takes a critic's word as canon law are weak-minded people who would succumb to the Jedi Mind Trick."
Completely backwards, Mike. To your first point, it would indicate that actual quality (as defined by someone with expertise) has nothing to do with a film's success. Secondly, the audience members who blindly follow ad and marketing campaigns are the weak-minded ones, while those of us who chose smaller films over more popular ones -often after reading reviews about them- are far more independent minded.
Anyone can decide what they like for themselves. But getting all snippy over the fact that film critics are movie lovers who don't care about what's simply popular is some pretty weak tea.
The Future of 3-D -- And How 'Avatar' Changed the Game (Moviefone Blog)
Feb 27th 2010 3:29PM What's with the all-or-nothing? Like there can't be BOTH 3-D spectacles AND serious movies?
I work in Hollywood and I can assure you that plenty of studio types don't have the first clue about making movies, and they certainly aren't movie fans. They're just over-reacting to whatever is happening at a given moment. And also trying to turn the whole movie industry (at the studio level) to a cross-fertilized, globalized, theme park extrvaganza. Well, that won't do.
Most people I know want to be wowed, a la "Avatar", and moved, a la "Ordinary People." You don't go to the movies for both at the same time, but you do want both. And the true talent of story and acting always triumphs the special effect of the moment. The proof is that people will still watch the now 30 year old "The Empire Strikes Back", but how many will watch bad 3-D films from the 1950s??
Hot Seat: Should Democrats Wrap Up Nomination? (Politics Daily)
Mar 24th 2008 12:58PM Obama is by far the better candidate and has run by far the better campaign. It should be quite clear that most of these "pro-Clinton" comments are trolls, as nearly every Democrat I know has been disgusted by Hillary's horrible campaign. She can't win. Time for her to give it up.
Oh, Max? You're a complete dope.
Court Shuts Down Whistleblower Site (Switched)
Feb 20th 2008 12:47PM Another example of the Bush Adminstration and the GOP ruining this country. This Supreme Court is a disgrace. Thomas is an embarrasment, and Scalia, Alito, and Roberts should be nowhere near the Court. Bush goes in less than a year, but we'll be stuck with these losers for years.
GM's Bob Lutz: Global warming is a "total crock of sh*t" (Autoblog Green)
Feb 15th 2008 2:24PM You people debunking global warming are pathetic. Notice how meme provided detailed scientific arguments and links, and a good 90% of the debunkers are spewing utter nonsense. You realize that whatever "science" you guys cough up has been bought and paid for by huge corporate interests? Hmm, I guess not.
Bob Lutz is wrong. Al Gore is right. I wish I could put all of you debunkers on another planet so you can suffer from the error of your ways. Unfortunately, those of us trying to save the planet are stuck with you.
