Secret Regrets -- Men Share the Things They'd Most Like to Do Over (Lemondrop)
Oct 8th 2010 8:38AM Brad,
I agree that maybe they should have included regrets of older men,
too, but I also know that as a 23 year-old woman I have REAL regrets
that should not be dismissed just because of my age. I've experienced
real love, pain, and the deaths of many people close to me (including
a sibling). I don't know everything and I know I have a lot to
experience, but that doesn't make the things I have gone through
insignificant; and the same goes for these young men.

Dove 'Mad Men' Commercial Causes Controversy; Unilever Says It's Witty Parody (Stylelist (Main))
Aug 6th 2010 10:44AM Amy Angelowicz is apparently completely out of touch with the everyday modern American woman. Just like I don't like false cries of racism, I, even as a woman, cannot stand false cries of sexism. Do you really think dove, a product marketed primarily to women, is going to openly display prejudice to their target audience? Is sexism still alive today? Yes. But women have come a long way and are continuing to earn their place in the world. But when a woman wants to play the victim of sexism when it truly is not there, it only hurts the cause women have been working toward for generations.
'Jersey Shore': Are You Clued In? (AOL Hot Searches)
Jul 30th 2010 10:58AM I'm truly shocked that this show is still on television. I watched the first few minutes of the other day just to check it out, and it was so unbearable I just had to change the channel. Who watches this trash? Who let's their children watch this? I suppose I'm the target audience (22 yr. old female), but I didn't find it entertaining at all, just offensive. The worst part is, I grew up in Jersey and I can't believe these are the people who are representing it. Isn't New Jersey's reputation bad enough without adding these pieces of garbage to the mix?
Diddy Calls Martin Bashir 'Racist' (The Boombox)
Jul 30th 2010 10:47AM If "Diddy" was so comfortable with his decision tp spend $300,000 on his 16 year-old son's car, he shouldn't have had a problem talking about it. Money doesn't equal class, and I think most people would consider that kind of extravagance trashy for a person of ANY race! The classiest wealthy people I know drive old Volvos and are very subtle in regards to money. The last thing they want to do is flash it for everyone to see!

Any Size Popcorn and Soft Drink for $1 (MyDaily)
Jul 23rd 2010 11:15AM I grew up going to an AMC 24, but I now live in a small town where we have a little locally owned theater with 2 screens. A movie ticket there is $5 (compared to the Regal Cinemas' price of $9.50 30 minutes down the road) and a large drink and large popcorn cost about $4 (compared to the outrageous price of $10 to $15). Can't beat that!!
