Aug 9th 2011 10:02PM Really, if my iPhone could charge with FireWire I'd still be using thy cable! I have a dozen apple cables from

Dear Aunt TUAW: Help me pick a shopper card app (TUAW.com)

Jun 12th 2011 12:35AM Card star also has a underutilized feature,... Backup.... Which backs up and SYNCS your cards to a "cloud" server, which is great for my wife and I , we share the same account whatevver she scans I get and visa versa, very handy! Right up there with shared contacts and calendars,... They do need a better interface and titling, and it would be nice to have a vendor login, to create or ad cards officially from companies right from the app. . I have less problem with cardstar and I like how it works with loyalty cards that have numbers but bombardier (like regal cinemas )

Amazon responds to Apple's 'App Store' lawsuit (TUAW.com)

Apr 27th 2011 8:52PM Does anyone remember when Amazon sued all those companies for using a shopping basket and checkout model? Yeah this is the kettle calling the pot black

MobileMe rumored to get alternative payment methods (TUAW.com)

Mar 30th 2011 12:16PM Maybe that is just the line that they feed consumers on the phone at the call center... seems to me that telling consumers that an "alternative" is on the way is a good way of telling people that they should "hold on a little longer because we're going to make it free" without actually revealing anything

AT&T CEO says App Store is bad for consumers (TUAW.com)

Feb 16th 2011 11:21PM Wow what an idiot, they all had 'stores' before apple came around and they sucked, people had started buying rimgtones, but the telcoms have the same problem they've always had. They can't see the forest for the trees. They never innovate just to be better for the consumer, they always look at innovation in the what's in it for me? That's where google, facebook, and apple etc... Really excel at breaking the status quo, it comes straight from a geek morality, that is ingrained in the companies culture, In doubt AT&T or verizon has ever encouraged it's employees to make the product better on the spare time or company time in order to improve the customer expirence , with any forseeable profit gains. Fools... A day late and a dollar short

BGR: Verizon iPhone sales not burning hot (TUAW.com)

Feb 16th 2011 11:07PM I'd switch for better service in my area Richmond,va, but, I had verizon before (when the better service was AT&T in NOVA) and I Always had terrible customer service, long lines, and paid more then a similar AT&T plan. I'd have to be convinced that would change and I'm not convinced yet. AT&T is still good to me as a company and in the wallet, and while I know that is not everyones feeling. Its been the reason I've stayed.

Report: Ford spells out new standards for Lincoln dealers (Autoblog)

Feb 7th 2011 11:44PM Sounds like they are positioning themselves well with BMW / MINI service and even Honda has taken huge strides in developing new service areas & showrooms. Imnactuallubsurprised this has happened sooner for Lincoln dealerships seems logical to have stayed in step with the competition. From a marketing stand pointnits a good thing, people buy apple computers as much for the amazing service as they do for the beautiful product
