I feel for Kanye because his mothers death will always feel like yesterday (it's been 23 years for me) but he threw a tantrum for not winning a grammy long before his mother passed.

Jun 13th 2008 5:56AM Abortion is a necessary evil. I use to see this homeless lady on the street near my job who would wear garbarge bags as close indicating mental illness. The last time I saw her she was about 5 months pregnant. What should happen to her child? I personally would never have one, but I am very pro choice. I am also a person who would adopt a child of any race, but I know anti choicers who won't and they won't give money to illeviate the problem. So should the life end as cells or be born and suffer neglect, pain and possible sexual abuse?

Jun 13th 2008 5:49AM If my son did not listen to me when I told him it was paramount to have protection during sex, he would be made to suffer the consequences of his actions, which would be something I also would have told him about.
The fact remains many kids cannot talk to their parents and that won't change because many people should not have children. My friends would ask my mother because they could not talk to their own. Sad enough to forge a signature but she did not even accompany her to make sure she was ok, her son must be a piece of work with such a shitheal as a mother.

Mar 9th 2008 1:25PM Natalie is a HYPOCRITE! As I recall Natalie was ARRESTED for drug possession the year she won Best New Artist. And I also seem to recall one year her baby son fell into her pool and almost drowned because she and her preacher husband were freebasing (or whatever you call it). Amy is a refreshing new talent with unfortunate issues. I don't condone drug usage but if we scratched artists who use drugs, there would be no, Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Who and the list goes on.

Feb 26th 2008 1:25PM As a Southern Black woman, I agree that plantation was and still is one of the symbols of the South. Granted it would be different if there was confederate flag being held by a Klansman, otherwise it is fine. I suspect this chain letter was similar to the one I always receive about boycotting American Airlines because of their "racist" advertisement. Not thought out and ridiculous.

Feb 22nd 2008 6:50AM Kristin, I agree with your post but many, many doctors are against the HPV shot. According to the well known Dr. Christine Northrup, the shot is only good for a few strains of HPV, when there so many strains. She has also said the money would be better spent on education about regular gyno care.

Feb 22nd 2008 6:44AM I just don't understand why forced sterilisation would be ok with anyone. I was raised by my community as well as my mother and I was good kid who did not have sex until adulthood and I cannot imagine having to go to a gynecologist as teen for some invasive procedure to deal with something that was not even on my radar yet. By agreeing with the mandate, you are acknowledging you have no control over your children and believe they have no rights and therefore no voice. I consider my kids a human being and as their mother I consider them a human being who has a mother who is capable of making decisions on their behalf.
