It wouldn't matter if you were a college graduate or not, you will not reach a valid conclusion/answer if the premise is wrong. There is a lot of value to college and you do learn a lot. There are things you could learn in college that you can't in the real world. Your problem is you have developed a bias against those who went to college, because they have something you lack, and you are taking it out on them in your hiring decisions.
Hey Nathan: Maybe you should re-read the "joke" again. The Nuns started
out paying $10 each They each got back $1 dollar. Answer: the romm cost $25 plus a ($2 tip divided by 3)which cannot be done evenly.
Where did you get Adding $2 to $27?
I guess my other "comment" did not get through.
I've been retired for over 10 years. My nephew now owns my old company.
I had over 400 employees who were paid a excellent salary with the best benefits I could buy.
Oh, and I did go to College later on in life. I actually knew more of
my trade in the Aerospace Industry than what was being taught in the
classroom. I had "hands" on experience and the tricks of the trade, which
is not taught in the classroom. I knew more about Metals than the Professor did by far and actually taught him many things.
Fours years of Alcoa History, seven years of Reynolds Aluminum (Instruction),
Two years NY Tech, One year Ohio State University. All passed easily.
Currently I am learning Constitutional Law as a private student (as a hobby) in my second year.
I guess some people, such as yourself, does not know a "joke" when he see's one. Lighten up & Smarten up..... Remember, ALL THESE COMMENTS ARE RECORDED

Dec 1st 2010 3:33AM I use to "briefly" check the past history of a potential employee.
College did not matter to me whatsoever, as I was "working" my
heart out living in the real world while others were sitting in
a classroom to learn the same things I did. I worked on a "commission".
I can name "hundreds" of very successful entreprenuers who only
went through High School.
When I "interviewed" a candidate I asked them to "walk" with me.
If they had a very slow "pace" or "gait", that was a turn off.
(All handicapped persons kept up with me, or faster)
I would also ask an answer to this simple JOKE.
"Three Nun's were traveling on the road and the weather got so severe
that they seeked shelter at a motel that had a "vacancy" sign.
The Manager was out, so they asked the assistant manager for three rooms.
The assistant manager said they only had "one" room available but they could share the room at a cost of $30 dollars. They each paid $10 dollars.
A few hours later the Manager came back and noticed the "No Vacancy" sign
was lit up. The assistant manager told the Manager he rented the last room for $30 dollars. The Manager said, "Thats not right, the room is only $25
dollars. The Manager took $5 single dollar bills and told the bellhop boy to
give it back to the Nun's. The bellhop boy decided to keep $2 dollars for himself and gave the three Nun's back a dollar each. This meant that each
Nun paid $9 dollars each for the room. 9 x 3 = 27 plus the 2 dollars the bellhop boy kept = 29...WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OTHER DOLLAR from the original $30 dollars???
You would be surprised at how many College Grads did not know the simple answer... Better luck next time for them. Oh, and "any" phone had to be answered by the third ring by saying, "This is (the company name) and my name is (????)how may I help you...

will go up. The increase for aluminum demand
will make the industries prices go higher.
The government will pay "more" than $100 million
dollars trying to stop "counterfeiters", which
of course do not counterfeit pennies or nickels as
it costs them more to make one.
Changing the "alloy" would be a bad move.
(Maybe Obama will have the nickels made out of Wood)

Jun 19th 2009 8:20PM NO WAY SHOULD HE HAVE TO PAY. HE PAID ENOUGH.
I was injured attempting to save two complete
stranger's who were thrown from their speedboat.
They were trapped in the center of the unmanned
speedboat while it continued to race around them.
I went in the 40 degree water to help. I was able to save one person, the other was killed by the boat. I crushed my L-3 vertabrae doing this and
have suffered from severe chronic pain for over
30 years. I lost my job, my house, and never able
to have a family. I can't even afford to go to
the same beach where this happened in Rocky Point, NY. I use to enjoy going to the beach, but now
you have to buy a yearly membership.
I was awarded the U.S. Silver Lifesaving Medal in
May 1998 12 years after the incident happened.
I never even heard from the person who I rescued.
I was never in the military.
I feel that ALL MILITARY should get a free pass to
go to any Park or Beach.

I never heard of "PROER RULES". I am a 55 year old who is
not a professional typist and use only one or two finger's to type.
I think that "PROER RULES" should be proper rule's. I could be wrong, but I am not a professional. There is no disrespect on
age, as I admire my elder's and respect them with all my heart.
I am aware that some person's may make a comment using
a age factor to make a statement. In this case I feel that FAYE
simply meant "PROPER" rather than "PROER"......Dan

"BOTH" Parent's have to have been a
U.S. Citizen with "Alligence" to the
U.S.. Obama's Father was a British Subject
of Kenya at the time of his birth.
Internation Law states that a "child born"
shall inherit the Nationality and Citizenship of the "Father". (no matter
where they are born). A Hawaii Certification of Live Birth, is not the same as a Certificate of Live Birth, which
contain's "All" the Vital Statistic's.
In 1961, Anyone could file for a Certification (NOT Certificate) of Live Birth. The "Parent's", or Child did not
even have to be in Hawaii. Another person
could file for them as long as the person filing lived in Hawaii for at least one year.
If you read or glance at all the Hawaii Statutes from
338-5 to 43 there are many ways to file for a colb.
The colb can be changed, etc…but originals “sealed”.
When the Director of the Health Dept. said the records
have been “sealed”, it might very well mean they were
“Altered” at some point. Another “person” may very
well of “filed” for the COLB, perhaps Ann Dunham’s Mother.
