Downsized: More and More Products Lose Weight (WalletPop)

Jan 6th 2011 6:00AM Standard measurements like pint, quart, ounce, pound (and its evil fractions thereof) were instituted at the same time as our Constitution. Having it read aloud, of all things, is hurtful to all of us liberals who staunchly defend the right of 2 plus 2 to be whatever you want it to be. This country has become the Land of Joe Four Pack and thank (space left intentionally blank) for it. Coaster use should be Federally regulated to stamp out those ugly rings found on most coffee, kitchen, dining, pool, ping pong, operating, side and multiplication tables.

'Whatever' Crowned Most Annoying Word for Two Years Running (Lemondrop)

Dec 22nd 2010 10:59AM An expression widely used by many with nothing really to say is "go ahead then...". It's a stall while a brain attempts activation. It is periodically introduced by "take and be fixin to go ahead then..." and other babble, mostly inane comments that are routinely irrelevant.

Ann-Margret joins Jaclyn Smith on 'Law & Order: SVU' (AOL TV)

Feb 25th 2010 8:27PM All of these "old pros" are okay with me. Talent, beauty and a certain telegenic presence that built and held audiences. Most could really act and were totally appropriate for their time. It's the entertainment business, nothing really important.

J. Crew Is Going Global on Net-A-Porter (Stylelist)

Feb 23rd 2010 8:45PM It's Garmentos vs Hondurans, Guatamalans, Panamanians and many English speaking patrons of Dubrows, Katzes, The Stage, Ratners and 38 guys named Shelly, Sheldon or Shecky, plus Henry Waxman, this year's winner of the annual
"Keeping Anti-Semitism Alive Award". Last year's winner, Chuck Schumer, made the presentation, in between press conferences.

Goldberg Rips Somers for Swayze Quotes (PopEater)

Sep 26th 2009 6:59AM Showbiz is riddled with "has beens". Suzanne hangs on despite her time was the 70s and Whoopi is five or six ratings points from oblivion. The two of them
make you wonder why the day has 24 hours when two or three is more than enough.

Small Town Coach, Big-Time Hero (Fanhouse Main)

Sep 6th 2009 7:41AM This man seems to be a true legend. Like some key traits, we learn things like character, personal responsibility, integrity and honesty from very few individuals like Coach Howard. He will be remembered for what he gave, not by football scores or championships.

Whole Foods drama continues: Unions join in fight against CEO (Daily Finance)

Aug 30th 2009 4:26PM Mr. Mackey is currently the next Howard Schultz in waiting.
Too many op eds, media releases about politics and not enough focus on running Whole Foods. Who cares who shops at WF? Another status driven enterprise running amok trying to be someting it is not.

A Tale of Two Presidential Pitches (Politics Daily)

Jul 15th 2009 3:25PM Nobama throws like a bedwetter, and what else, he's a lefty, but you already knew that.

Who should pay $1.4 million tab for Jackson's funeral? (WalletPop)

Jul 15th 2009 11:08AM Wallet Pop and the rest of the media will keep this alive until after the "Ice Skating Today" signs come down in Hell. Our culture has descended (that would be go down) into a pit of untold (not told yet) ugliness. Next is the autopsy, which incidentally, is "SOLD OUT". Have you ever met an authentic(real, not fake) autopsy ticket scalper?

John McCain's Campaign Staffers Unload on Sarah Palin (Politics Daily)

Jul 6th 2009 9:37AM McCain staffers whip out their "anonymity deflectomatics" and wail on Sarah while avoiding the truth of running one lousy campaign. Making sure that McCain's rocking chair works is not campaign stuff. Maybe they should drive around in clown cars. And Todd Purdom wins the 2008 "Scumbunny Award".
