Dec 13th 2007 1:55AM It is SO obviously clear she is BiPolar! Her behaviour is CLASSIC!!!! Why doesnt someone help her? Or if she has been offered meds and doesnt take them,then take the kids away, and her drivers license and everything else she can do that jeopardizes OTHER peoples safety until she wakes up and accepts she has a BIG problem!!!! It is VERY common for first time bipolar signs to show up around 25 and especially after childbirth. Where are the doctors??

Oct 3rd 2007 1:10PM First, the three are/were 'fellows'. This means they have finished and internship AND a minimum of 2 yr residency. However because of the specialties each one of them has, they would have been residents for at least 4 yrs. A fellowship normally lasts 2 to 3 yrs. That part of the 'team' staying beyond 3 yrs doesnt make alot of sense. But, I have to agree with those who have said it just wont be the same. I think they should add some new personalities but allow the others to develop in their own directions too.

Feb 10th 2007 1:43AM Just wanted to comment on the thyroid issue. As a medical professional I can say that thyroid function is a common cause of depression. Any good psychiatrist/primary doctor, tests for thyroid function BEFORE making the diagnosis of depression. There is also a condition call Myxedema, which happens when the thyroid is basically 'dying'. Severe low amts of Thyroid hormone can lead to very subtle symptoms until late in the process. If left unchecked, the last process before a coma, is Psychosis!!! None of us should be judging this woman, who has obviously done ALOT with her life. Why should ALL of her past successes be completely forgot. Not saying that makes what she did right? But we are in America and she is innocent till proven guilty. Thanks for your time.
