Jul 31st 2007 3:11AM I have a great point on the service but quickly I want to comment on "Bob." He is the reason this country is in turmoil with his 1920 way of thinking. Then he thanks God. Actually sir you are going to hell for hating, not the gay guy who made a remark about the gay and lesbian section at netflix. Bet you hate women and people of color too.
It was hard to part with netflix because I was on their bandwagon since they opened. Way ahead of their time. People still don't totally "get it" when it comes to online dvd programs. That said when blockbuster offered where you could return movies to the store and free coupons, I had to switch. Netflix got to the point where they wouldn't ship until they got their movies which was far different than at the beginning. Their prices jumped quickly. Times to get movies got slower. They started to employ the same tactics of the blockbusters of the world once they had the market cornered. Then Wal-Mart came along but didn't pose a real challenge. Then blockbuster. I didn't think anything of them at first because they did not do in store exchange. It was like a separate company(it wasn't of course). I get movies much faster with blockbuster. If I turn in 3 movies at the store for example, as soon as they check them in they ship my next movies. But wait there's more. I have 3 movies in hand already from exchanging them. If I get my movies next day, I can potentially have six movies out, no extra charge. Also I get 2 free in store rentals per month. Add that up and netflix just doesn't come close. I would not buy netflix stock, thats all I am saying. Like them or hate them, blockbuster right now is far superior.

Apr 11th 2007 1:40AM One more thing people keep talking about that needs to be addressed. Rosie is a big mouth but your alternative to her Mr. BILL O DUMB ASS LOUDMOUTH REILLY isn't? One day all the conservative Christians (oh by the way I am a Christian but agree with the churches who finally understand times change and you can't pick and choose what in the Bible is truth and what is fiction) and people who have a one track mind will finally understand how they were totally duped by this current presidency. That is the difference between us liberals and conservatives. You want to believe everything is cut and dry and one way of doing things and the government would never lie. We(liberals) would like to know the answers to some very questionable decisions. This is not 1955 anymore. I myself am a white male with blonde hair and blue eyes, good looking, done well in life. So why should I care? Because it is wrong. Gays are good people, Jews are good people, men, women, bi-sexual, transsexual, blacks, whites, mexican, asian, you name it. All good people who make America what it is. So many different types of people make up this wonderful country. It scares many conservatives that someone looks different than they do. So why does conservative America think that one day it will be 1955 and white women will be at home cooking waiting for their husband to come home from his job at 5:00 sharp. The kids will be finishing their homework washing their hands waiting for dinner to be served. That world and way of thinking has passed people. Back then nobody said anything. All of you were led to believe you did things a certain way because thats just the way it was. No questions. That is the same kind of crap thinking most conservatives still have. They don't want to ask questions. They just believe everything will come out right in the end so lets leave it alone. Challenge yourself. Ask why we are doing what we are doing. I hate to say it but one day the only way conservatives will get it is when we realize because of our attitudes we have pissed off every other country. And if you take a look we are not the dominant country we think we are. We are losing this war if you haven't noticed. Maybe when N Korea sends some nukes over you won't think w's cowboy attitude was a good idea. Did any of you see the bi-partisan report? Rosie is trying to educate the home during the day people who don't know any better and were taught one thing and won't listen to another opinion. They could like everything a democrat stands for, but then something like gay marriage pops up and that is more important than anything. Stupid non-relevant issues like that is what you people see. Forget there were no weapons of mass destruction. We need to make sure these gays don't marry. Then you went and voted for bush. Totally blind. Just Like 85% of the people who have posted their anti-Rosie comments with no facts or anything to back the statement up. Just that she is fat and loud. So is O'Reilly. Yet you think he is great, but Rosie a loud mouth. That is your basis. It's pathetic. If you scroll through all the comments on here you will notice how sad it is that people can't find any good reasons why he comments were wrong. It is just a personal attack. Thats really sad.

All of you seem to attack her not because of her words but because of what she looks like. Wow, you are so much better aren't you? Pathetic, uneducated people. So many of you are so blind. Probably men and women in your middle ages who have no clue about anything but what the fox news channel and any conservative old thinking mind tells you. Instead of only beieving the news, do like Rosie and have facts to back it up. Last time I looked, your god for a president had one of the lowest approval ratings for a president in history. Yetyou think she is wrong for questioning this war that old W declared we won 3 years ago and is now the second vietnam. Wake up people. Oh and if you ignorant people haven't seen the ratings, the show is doing quite well. People do watch it, and she is one of the reasons why. START ASKING QUESTIONS, AND DON'T RULE OUT SOMETHING BECAUSE IT CLASHES WITH A BELIEF YOU HAVE.
Will Idol producers raise age limit to 30? {TV Squad}
Feb 14th 2007 8:14AM I felt compelled to right when I saw there were haters here posting. It's funny you hate the show but you are here reading and posting. I will make this short because it's way too easy to write a book tearing people like Mike down. You list all these bands that are credible so it gives your comments credibility, right. AI is a fun shown that even though I don't have numbers in front of me, I believe every year breaks records from people watching it. How many Grammy Awards have came from Idol you idiot. And like someone above said how can you knock it if you have never watched it. you seem to be one of those types that was an aspiring musician who makes crappy music and never made it. Now you are mad at the whole world. Also don't come back at me with I don't know music. I own over 1000 CD's from almost every genre of music. I have an open mind. Has Idol turned out crap? Sure it has. But so has the music industry in general. It at least tries to weed out bad music in the process while making many people smile. What about all the respected artists that all make appearances and have their music covered? How about a monster in the music business Clive Davis on the show? Is Idol perfect? No. Is it more entertaining than the karaoke at bars you speak of? No comparison. Quit being a hater. get over the fact your band or whatever you are into in music sucks.

Feb 5th 2007 2:42AM I am not a bears fan. I am a football fan. REX GROSSMAN LED THIS TEAM TO A SUPER BOWL IN HIS 1ST YEAR STARTING. Are you people who say get rid of him kidding? Maybe you don't remember Jim Miller, Kordell Stewart or for that matter Kyle Orton. He is a huge talent that showed he has growing up to do. Peyton Manning will be in the top 3 quarterbacks of all time when he retires and it took jim 9 years to get this title. Did he lose fumbles? Yes. Did anyone else notice Indy turned it over as much as Chicago? The field was soaked. The QB position is always where everyone looks at. If you win, you're a god. Lose, burn your a** at the stake. Being a Browns fan I will tell you I would take Rex any day of the week. Remember Chicago he is basically finshing his rookie year. Reminds me of a young Bret Favre. Everyone thought he was an interception machine. Now will he be Favre? Probably not. But I guarantee he will be a good N.F.L. quarterback. Quit being spoiled crybaby's Chicago.The O-line was dominated. Yes, I know Rex fell down. Ok. If you think those two plays lost it you are wrong. You will be back amongst the best teams next year and Rex will be leading the way so you should get behind your qb and support him
