Apr 21st 2010 1:49PM Our 30 year old Royal died this year. After a lot of research I bought the new Miele canister for about $500. It works very well on hard surface and has a special extra suction for carpeting. The suction is great and the thing is 70% quieter than the old heavy one I replaced. Bags are about $2.50 each but hold a lot. I am very happy so far.

Nov 21st 2007 10:10AM This is a beautiful film -I saw it last month.
The sex scene is beautifully done and sensual - it is NOT porn, but it is stark. How can people condem beautiful love making versus blood & guts in a shoot 'em up movie?
I also saw American Gangster the other night - it has many grafic murder scenes, but no one is condeming that film. In fact the main character, a drug dealer, comes off as a hero.

Feb 4th 2007 10:53AM I went to a wedding where the bride and bridesmaids wore the rhinestone lashes (last photo above). The photos came out funny as the light from the flash cubes bounced off the shiny rhinestones. I thought they looked ridiculous anyway - detracted from attractive women.
