Study says more than 10,000 laptops go missing at US airports each week {Engadget}
Jul 6th 2008 1:40PM Great advice, but at some point it does have to go by itself in it's own separate gray bin. The advice in the article of sandwiching it between both of your goods is very good advice.
Macworld: iPod touch gets January apps with 2.0 update {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Jul 2nd 2008 12:40PM I waited on paying $20 for the apps. Didn't need them on my wife's 16gb touch. But will spend the $10 to upgrade it to 2.0 and get the apps.
Mac 101: Get that "stuck" disc out of your Mac {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Jun 24th 2008 5:10PM This is the option I've always used. True, that it only works on PPC (I've not tried it on Intel)
MacBook Air SuperDrive super hack makes it work with any computer {Engadget}
Jun 24th 2008 1:33PM I would guess that Apple wanted to force it for support reasons, to only work with the Air. Personally, I think they could have found a way to make it work with all Macs... they could easily sell a ton of these for $99.
In defense of blue cheese {Slashfood}
Jun 17th 2008 6:17PM Roquefort is my absolute favorite. Love, love, love this cheese. Since the 70's where it was one of the salad dressing choices at Bob's Big Boy, I've been hooked on roquefort.
At almost $30/lb. at my local deli, it's pricey, but it's always a nice treat, spread on some crackers or crumbled up in a chef salad.
iPhone 3G must be activated in-store (and other followup questions answered) {Engadget}
Jun 13th 2008 2:43PM Wow is right. Are we purchasing a second residence or a smartphone?
I know they will sell a lot, but this confusion mess is just going to push the jailbreakers into finding a way around this. Because it's obvious this is why they set it all up like this. Cat and mouse game all over again.
Virgin mojitos - As good as the real thing, minus the booze {Slashfood}
Jun 11th 2008 3:19PM I've been making mojitos at home for the last couple of summers. We have a nice-sized mint plant growing in our backyard, so what better way to not waste it than to make mojitos.
The last party we had, I was making the kids virgin mojitos and added just a splash of collins mix to make up for the lack of rum. The lemon/lime neutralizes the drink, similar to how the rum does.
Next up is to try raspberry and blueberry mojitos, which I've had at various restaurants and bars.
Confirmed: GoPhone is No Go and in-store Activation only {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Jun 10th 2008 12:21AM Well, so much for me getting an iPhone anytime soon. I was hoping to get the new 3G on a Go Phone plan, but AT&T got greedy.
Frozen Lemonade Pie {Slashfood}
Jun 9th 2008 5:46PM That looks very similar to the one I found in a Kraft Food magazine some years back
http://allrecipes.com/recipe/lemonade-stand-pie/Detail.aspx
The Kraft version requires no cooking and tastes very good. I use Country Time Raspberry lemoade mix to add an extra flavor to it.
iPhone 2.0 free in early July for all iPhone owners, $9.95 for iPod touch {Engadget}
Jun 9th 2008 3:02PM No mention of cut and paste, unless I missed it while dosing off after all of the demos they went through.
