Battle of the Brands: Nintendo Wii vs. Sony PlayStation 3 (BloggingStocks)
May 4th 2008 2:16PM The Wii. I have all three next-gen consoles and in all honesty... the ps3 is the last one I'd buy it for if a game was on all three systems. Most games look better on the 360, xbox live is WAY better than psn and it's not stopping to wait for psn to catch up.. that won't ever happen this generation, xbl gets better & better.... besides the 360 controller is much better than the ps3's tiny controller.
The wii is very innovative & fun. I feel like all I bought was a $600 bluray player with my ps3. I mean I am looking forward to MGS4... but do you know what they're losing by releasing that? The newest Splinter Cell...SC: Conviction which will hit shelves later this year..... and will be much better than MGS4.
I just really think Sony's been losing so much money in all markets..... soon they'll be owned by MS or Nintendo will own their gaming division at least.. LOL. MS already won this war and all they are doing is confirming it more and more.... Wii really is in it's own category... most people have a Wii & either a 360 or ps3.
Anyway, each system is great... but in order preference for someone who is unbiased: 360, Wii, Gaming PC, PS3..... but I have each so I get to have my cake and eat it too =)

Stereotypes of Tourists, from a British Perspective (Gadling)
Jan 26th 2007 1:59AM Well, you can not generalize Americans. The reason being, people from different parts of the country may have very different ways they go about things... but one thing is for sure... Americans don't take any crap and are quick to speak their minds, especially NYers. I see that as a good thing. Introverted nations who bite their tongues aren't so progressive now are they?
The French aren't too smart when it comes to getting around America and the English I would have to say are almost as dumb.
These stereotypes are fairly accurate but lookat the size of the nations you are comparing, America is far too large to be summed up as people from one part of the country to another being so similar. Take China for example, if you have any experience in your travls you will know the Chinese can have many differences from one part of their country to another.
I will tell you though, it is pretty common for people to be jealous of Americans because we have so much to be proud for and you don't hear of people saying "It's their dream to one day move to England, France, Mexico, Korea, Venezuala, Brazil, Japan, Russia, etc..." Visit... maybe but move?? no way.... Now on the otherhand, how often do you hear of someone who dreams to move to America? There are many reasons for this, we as Americans need to appreciate what we have =) If you are from NYC, you should appreciate the greatness that surrounds you and fills your life even more.
