Homeowner Robert Phipps Says Neighbor's Solar Panels Are Blinding (AOL Real Estate)

Apr 28th 2013 4:58PM He SAID he has to use black out curtains. But would you want to live in your home with blackout curtains in use all day long. That's no way to live. I'm all for protecting the environment but when it comes at the risk of the health and safety of a neighbor - what have you accomplished?? I, too, would love to see him install something that would reflect that glare back at his neighbor. One good turn deserves another, right?

Plan to Build Home on Top of Historic Heard Cemetery in Sandy Springs, Ga., Enrages Neighbors (AOL Real Estate)

Oct 8th 2012 4:48AM We are NOT talking about ONE lone coffin here - we are talking about a FAMILY CEMETERY THAT INCLUDES THE WILL OF THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND SOMEONE WANTS TO COMPLETELY REMOVE THIS FAMILY SO HE CAN BUILD ANOTHER HOUSE!!! I still feel that the sale was illegal since the cemetery was sold for "taxes" which it did not owe. BIG DIFFERENCE.

Oct 8th 2012 4:41AM I highly disagree with you. We are not discussing a thousand years from now - we are discussing AN EXISTING PROPERTY - a CEMETERY and the final wishes of a family who are long deceased. WE do not have the right to make this decision for them! Most people from their time period did NOT believe in cremation and would be very upset at the idea of someone with your very uncaring attitude being so willing to unearth them from their final resting place like it means nothing. This was the OWNER'S final wish and it was HIS property. I think the city made a huge mistake in selling a cemetery for TAXES THAT WERE NOT LEGALLY OWED. Everyone should have the right to have their wishes concerning their final resting place RESPECTED. EVEN YOU.

Plan to Build Home on Top of Historic Heard Cemetery in Sandy Springs, Ga., Enrages Neighbors (AOL Real Estate)

Oct 8th 2012 4:18AM LEAVE THE SITE ALONE. Even without coinsidering the Civil War aspect (which IS VITALLY important) the fact that it's a family cemetery, legally designated as such in in the will of the original owner- makes this the MOST IMPORTANT fact!!) Cemeteries are not subject to property taxes so the CITY MADE A MISTAKE IN SELLING IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. So....how is the $1 buyer still even in this battle. This transaction should be voided and the entire deal thrown out. If the original owner's LEGAL and last wish was to have this small property left as the final resting place for his family - then it is HIS land and his wishes should be carried out. Then, of course you DO have the Civil War aspect to consider. I wish these neighbors all the best in their fight. The current "owner's" claim to the property should be declared illegal and the city should give him his DOLLAR back and void the transaction. To the "buyer" -LEAVE THESE FAMILY MEMBERS IN THEIR GRAVES, take your dollar back and buy property someplace else. God forgive you if you disturb these family graves.

'White Only' Pool Sign 'Decorative,' Landlord Claims (AOL Real Estate)

Dec 20th 2011 7:33AM I grew up in the "deep" South and recall the "WHITE ONLY" drinking fountains and "WHITE ONLY" restrooms. I didn't understand it as a child and I STILL don't understand it at age 63. I am a HUGE history buff and believe in preserving our country's past - but this is a part of our nation's past that DOES NOT NEED TO BE PRESERVED in this format. Like the memories of Nazi Germany - we need to preserve some of these "memories" so they are NEVER repeated. HOWEVER - posting this on a fence gate in a neighborhood is NOT the proper place to put a "reminder" of one of the worst eras of our country's history. She is wrong and she knows it. If a child can see that something was wrong back in 1960 - then surely we know now that this entire idea is and WAS completely WRONG. This woman sounds like a racist to me - plain and simple. I'm glad someone stole the sign and hope it never appears again. It's up to our African American's to preserve this part of their history - like the Jews of Nazi Germany, they suffered through this period of outrageous hatred and racism and STILL are suffering. Allow them to perserve their history - not White Americans. It's not our place. We need only to support and love and understand

And They're Off: William and Kate Arrive In Canada (Photos) (PopEater)

Jul 2nd 2011 9:29PM Another reason he doesn't hold her hand - even though they are married - HE is the heir to the throne and would always walk slightly ahead of her. The Queen does it with her hubby - you'll never see him holding her hand and especially, not walking in front of her. Plus, general manners dictate that a man goes ahead of a woman when going down stairs/steps and behind her when going up - in case she should fall. Most of us in this country are lucky if our better half holds the door open until we get all the way inside!! She will most likely never be seen holding his hand in public or walking beside him. She'll be slightly behind him. Royalty does have its protocol!

Pint-Size Fan Rushes Stage, Startles Miley Cyrus (Video) (PopEater)

Jun 27th 2011 10:15AM TINY Fan???? This girl was as tall as Miley. I thought they were talking about a 3 or 4 year old!!. Althought I am NOT a Miley fan I am glad that, fortunately, this turned out to be nothing, but what if it was someone with a knife. Then what would we be talking about? Things like this have happened and Miley was right to be scared. It was not an overblown incident and someone should loose his job over this one!!! It could have been anyone with anything in mind!

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Reveal Newborn Twins' Names (PopEater)

May 4th 2011 9:58PM I'm NOT racist - absolutely not. But, let's get honest here, it's gottent to the point that you can tell whether a person is African American or not, much of the time, by their names - I mean - Tawanda, Kadeshia, MOROCCAN, Tanesia, Etwan, Danesia - be honest here. These names have gotten way out of hand. It seems that many African Americans, in an attempt to be different have gone way too far and are not thinking of their children. And there are some pretty awful names given to Caucasian children these days too. I just think that names this far from the norm work against a child both in school and later in their careers. I would never do this to my child. There's nothing wrong with an unusual name within the "normal" range but some of these are an after school beating waiting to happen - not to mention the teasing.

Chelsy Davy Dons Alberta Ferretti for the Royal Wedding (AOL Royal Wedding)

Apr 30th 2011 1:51AM I am shocked by this outift!! FIRST - it's a MESS! I see lumps and bumps at the seam lines; especially down the side seams of the skirt. It looks as if she dragged it out of the laundry basket at the last minute. I simply cannot believe she 'HAD THIS MADE" for herself. It's just an embarrassing mess. Doesn't she have any "friends" who will tell her the TRUTH about this sort of thing? Well, it's over and done - hope someone learns from her hideous mistake.

'Housewives' Cast Shocked by Jill Zarin's 'Taut' Face (PopEater)

Apr 14th 2011 6:35PM Not that anyone cares, but this woman went from being really beautiful to being really ridiculous looking. If she didn't have a surgical facelift, then she had about a quart of silicone injected into her face. I've rarely seen anything quite this bad since the "Lion" lady. What a sad, sad, shame. It's as bad as the Kenny Rogers facelift.
