Whiner and Diner Feeder Giveaway (Pawnation OLD)
Sep 1st 2010 2:45PM I keep the cat's dry food dispensers on the bathroom counter. They get wet food 2x a day, in their personal dishes on the stairs.
The dogs are fed meals 2x a day, so there is no regular spot for their food dishes.
The water dishes are in the kitchen and living room. This beautiful dish would look much better in the living room than the current one does.
Pet On The Street - How Did You Name Your Dog? (Pawnation OLD)
Mar 29th 2010 1:11PM Shasta, who went to the Bridge in May of '09, at 18 years and 7 months, was named for the beautiful wildflower Shasta Daisy. She came home on her one month birthday and was with me for a LONG time. Dumber than a rock, but a sweet and loyal girl, who is still missed. (Springer mix)
Tai, who was originally Tyler, needed a new name because I had a family member (human) named Tyler plus there were 2 other dogs on the same block with that name. So he's my boy and his name's a bad pun on "Mai Tai". (Terrier mix of some sort)
Tiki the cat, better known as "Stripey A$$ Cat" because she was into EVERYTHING as a kitten, and I was always yelling at her to get her "Stripey A$$ out of there or off there or away from there." (She grew up to be a very nice cat, which came as a real surprise)
I got her from a kid that was giving away kittens at a gas station. Domestic shorthair, better known as a plain ol' alley cat.
T'Belle, an itty bitty mixed breed dog was named for a Basset I had years ago, who saved my life back in the late 70's. She's "Petite Belle" after the original Belle, and a truly phenomenal dog, as was the original. (Maltese, Shih Tzu, and Yorkie, we think. The "breeder" was rather vague)
Gus, my Shih Tzu, was originally called "Bam Bam", which name I totally hated. I started calling him "Goofy Gus" because he's such a clown, and the Gus part stuck.
All were unplanned additions to the family except for T'Belle, and all are fixed so there will be no accidents.
Madonna, Angelina Jolie Digitally Aged 10 Years (Stylelist)
Dec 31st 2009 2:28PM These are some of the WORST Photoshop jobs I've ever seen!
Whoever this so called artist is, he needs to go take a course in how to use a photo editing program properly, or even buy a book!
He has "aged" everyone at least 20 years, rather than 10, drawn in and exaggerated all of the lines and wrinkles, then forgot to "soften" the changes for realism.
Ho, Ho . . . Whoa! Secularists Get the Holiday Spirit (Politics Daily)
Nov 24th 2009 3:02PM So much "Christian" charity from a pastor's wife, no less.
I could practically see and hear you smacking your chops at the thought of unbelievers going to Hell...
Stop salivating and think of where people that are cruel and gloating over it are liable to end up.
Barack Obama, John McCain Reveal Top 10 Favorite Songs (Spinner)
Oct 12th 2008 7:23PM He's not a Muslim, but you, like too many people on the blogs, seem to think if you tell a lie often enough, people will begin to believe it.
He went to public school in Indonesia, a predominantly Muslim country, for a few years. He also went to Catholic school in Hawaii.
He's a Protestant.
Want a Wii for Christmas? Get in Line. (Switched)
Nov 18th 2007 10:39PM I found a Wii at Toys 'r Us with no problem, a couple of months ago.
I like it. FINALLY, the good games are starting to be released, and it will play all of my old Game Cube games.
There are games galore to download, so you can play the old classics, too.
BTW, for what it's worth, I'm not a kid, I am an older adult. I would rather have a GOOD machine with a few GOOD games than an overpriced "fad" with lots of lousy games...

In re: this statement about Shaklee kid's vitamins.
Mannitol and xylitol are laxatives... so if you don't want to give your kids aspartane, and use this instead, stock up on toilet paper!
AARP Offers Video Game Training for Senior Citizens (Switched)
Nov 5th 2007 2:45PM I'm a month short of being 65.
I've been playing video games since the Nintendo 8-bit system.
I know several other senior gamers, and NONE of us are stupid!
"The box" indeed! WHICH box, Wii, PS2, PS3, XBox360, some older system, or what?
And how about showing how to connect it to the TV and put in and remove game disks?
Jeeze, AARP, get a clue...

The Lie About Obama Still Lives (Politics Daily)
Oct 15th 2007 1:44PM Barak Obama is NOT a Muslim.
He went to a public school for a couple of years with a lot of Muslim kids, Buddhist kids, Christian kids, in Indonesia when he was in the lower grades.
He also went to a Catholic school for 2 years.
He has been a member of his Protestant Church since the 1980's...hardly looks like he "changed" to run for President, as some IDIOTS have been saying.
