Jul 17th 2011 12:19AM I am of the generation where we always wear pantyhose, year round when we want to look good. I can't stand seeing naked legs, never have, under a skirt or dress. So Kate and Pippa have not started a "new" trend. They are just being proper when wearing a dress.

Jul 13th 2011 7:35AM When my son was little, I had a bag with a dinosaur on it that hung right next to the door. In it I put clean paper, connect the dots, coloring pages, crayons, pencils and little dinosaur toys. Whenever we went out the door my son would grab his bag. I cleaned it out routinely, adding new paper. He had something to entertain him quietly ever time we stopped at a restaurant. I did not allow him to be noisy or get out of his seat. Why can't other parents do the same? It takes little effort to make a bag like this for all kids. Even my niece's parents needed trained to arrange a bag for her. Not dinosaurs, but dolls, for her along with the coloring pages.

Apr 6th 2011 4:03PM When I was young, I would NEVER have spoken to a teacher that way! My bottom would have been tanned at school, then again when I got home. His behavior is something that a good spanking would stop immediately! I saw him on tv this morning. His mother is so passive about his behavior that it is beyond belief! Disgusting!!!

Nov 29th 2010 7:36PM Our "next generation" is already feeling the effects of food additives. Milk has antibiotics, Beef has growth hormone and antibiotics, chicken has antibiotics... The list goes on. This has led to children reaching puberty at age 8. When you go to the grocery store, look on the box. If there are ingredients which you cannot pronounce, it doesn't need to go into your body! It is possible to buy a half or a quarter of a cow that was raised without additives. Just look around. Your body will thank you for it.
