10 Stars Who Look Bad On HDTV (Switched)

Mar 14th 2008 8:40PM Sorry. I should have directed my criticism above to Phillip Swann. Either way, they're both out to lunch.

I'm happy to see that everyone else in the forum agrees that this article is a wash.

10 Stars Who Look Bad On HDTV (Switched)

Mar 14th 2008 8:28PM I absolutely agree with all of the above statements. What is this guy talking about?
Diaz looks terrific!

I think Dan Reilly was desperate to provide copy, he had a deadline to meet and he came up with an empty topic without making a convincing case. I've previewed some of the other pics and, frankly, this guy has his head up his wazoo. Which might explain his skewed vision.

Really, Reilly!

Now give us a peek at your own mug. Heh.

Makeup Tips for 'The 5 Minute Face' (oldstylelist)

May 1st 2007 8:44PM Why is everyone pouncing on the "race card"? Isn't it apparent that the only women featured in this article are several shades of white? I'm a white woman but unlike many of you, I'm not interested only in what concerns me. We are a human family. As for all those rants, most of them pathetically illiterate, they miss the issue. Women everywhere can only relate if the topic at hand is inclusive. Young women, old women, white, black, Asian and Hispanic women. We're all sisters. So let's join forces and look out for one another. Even with a subject as relatively superficial as cosmetics, we need to activate for broader representation. For too many years, the only models in fashion magazines were white. This article and its images merely reaffirm the bias.

May 1st 2007 8:14PM Actually, I think it's a shame that none of the females depicted in photos on this site even remotely resemble African-American women. Furthermore, the so-called older woman looks like a 35-year-old with gray hair. Let's get real AND inclusive. Many of us simply can't relate.
