Jul 18th 2010 9:40AM I agree what a lot of what you said, but have a bigg issue with many of the washes on the jeans. Unless you're pin thin and tall, no one looks good in a light wash - especially when it's uneven like what was recommended for "apple shapes".

You're the one that doesn't "get it". Most of the people on that list are just the faces - not the real decision makers. I would say the real powerbrokers are people we don't necessarily know by name (or face) Obviously, one needs to follow the money trail to know where the real power lies. Usually Forbes is better at identifying that group and doesn't pander to the public's fixation on celebrities.

Plenty of actors manage to live nice quiet lives with minimal intervention, if that's what they want. You can't have it both ways - lots of fame, fortune, adoring fans and attention without "paying the piper". If you don't like it, go do something else. There are plenty of people who would be more than delighted to take your place.
