Jul 17th 2008 5:55PM Nancy Polosi is a dud. She failed Katrina when she was warned it was in an emergency and di nothing for days and thousands died from it. . So what if Cindy McCainis a millionaire. It is her money to do with as she wants and Mc Cain is entitled to his Social Security. Polosi made sure Hillary did not get in as our next president with Howard Dean. What good to our coutry are these two. Congress has failed us too. They have taken trillions from Social Sercuity and never paid ir back. Called pork barrelling. What are we paying these people for? Obama is way to fast into telling people off and he is not the president yet and doubt he ever will be. Arogant and stuipid who knows nothing about politics. Shame on Caroline Kennedy for voting for him. Jackie would turn over in her grave. I would rather have McCain no matter how old he is, as he does have some experience in him. We are definately headed for a war with Iran and that will mean a draft. But think we have to , to protect our allies and our own Country. Get rid of the dead beats and put in new people who are honest and will try to help not only our country but the whole world., if there are any. We are in one sorry mess, and Bush should be impeached for war crimes. What is wrong with you, Nancy Polosi? You are a nothing thing. Ssssstep down before you are pulled down in the next election. And Dean with you. Both are a disgrace to this country. Get new fire wood under the fire.

Jul 16th 2008 7:03AM I for one will never vote for Obama because he will not get honest about his heritage. His father was 100 % Muslim and on Obama.s birth record it is stated so. His mother was an Irish ahtiest. His biological father left the family and his mother married another Muslim man. When this man can get honest he might get more votes. He has never had a hard day in his life. Went to the best schools in Hawaii. Never served his country and wrote a book on how he went towards his fathers faith in " My Fathers Dream ". Saying if things got ugly he would go for the Muslims. This man does not belong as president of this country. Never dropped his undesireable friends untill he had to. You are too late Obama. Jul 10th 2008 8:50AM I for one would never visit Saudi Arabia. I know what the laws are there and would not take the chance of breaking them by mistake. There are plenty of good othercountrues to visit. I have been to Portugal and id was not only beautiful but inspiring. Trash on the beaches have no morals. They got what they deserved just for being seen together as that was breking the laws. So they are paying the price of breaking the law in another country. You not only have to know what the laws are there, you have to not break them.
Gas Prices a Killer for the Elderly {WalletPop}
Jun 17th 2008 5:19PM Our city had that problem for rides for the elderly for doctor appointments. Luckily they got a grant from the government for a driver. Meals on wheels is a more important program for the elderly. It is between life and death. Grants should be made immediately for Meals on Wheels. It is a disgrace to help other countries first before ur own. Yes we should help if possible but our tax dollar should go to our own first. There is no reason for such a thing to happen. Oil companies could well afford to give gas for this and take it off of their taxes. The same with the rich. Especially the ones who own 2-3 homes in different countries. Do not forget who made you rich so you could have these homes. A donation each year would help ths program to survive. Take it off of your taxes. Humanity comes first especially after what this country did for you. Young people could certainly get together and help out with car pools. . Some day that might be you all alone and hungry.

If he is elected president, as long as he does a good job and gets rid of that pastor and corrupt friends from the past.We all makes mistakes. I think he knows they have to be part of his past. I wish him luck if he is elected and just maybe he can bring some change to this country. He is smart enough to know we would impeach him if he didn,t. Give the man the benefit of a doubt. He is young and full of vigor. Better him than McCain who would not stop this war.We have lost enough younng troopers.

Jun 4th 2008 5:16PM I agree that all campaigns are fixeed. It happened wiith Bush and Gore and it just happened with Hillary and Obama. . It is not fair to hold any thng against her because of her husband. That is why she lost this nominee. there is nothing to feel sympathy about. Hillary knows what happened. Golden boy will ruin this country and his ignorant wife will help him. Neither one of them are polished enough to be the president and first lady. They will have to be tutored all the way through his first 4 years. Hillary can hold her head high. She had the popular vote but that did not matter. the DNC did just what they wanted. Rig this race and sell out Hillary. Let her find the peace she now needs. what ever comes from Obama will now be on the DNC,s head and I hope they can handle it. I believe Edwards will be his running mate. that would be a good team, but I think Hillary should stay where she is and do better work than Obama does if he is elected. Remembe he only won the nominee. He is not the president yet, although he thnks he is.

Jun 3rd 2008 6:24AM Howard Dean, is the rotton apple in the basket. He is the one in charge and his idea of this is insulting to the Democratic party and he will be the one to lose to McCain. He is punishing every voter from both states. One from Florida and one from Michigan. It is not the voters fault that the leaders put the date up to early. They should not be punished for some one elses mistake. So Mr Dean, what HAVE you done? You have lost both states to McCain as Hillary did have them both and they wanted her. So this is the end results of a bad decision. You are getting back some KARMA. that you have coming to you. The people of these two states are not going to take this. McCain will have a ride in and the Democrates will have lost this presidency themselves. This is what punishing these states is going to bring you. What a sorry mess you have made out of this campaign and you should never be elected to any Gov,t office again. Every voter has the right to vote without being punished for some one elses mistake. Hope this goes to the Supreme Court.
