Radio & TV Talk Atlanta-Based 'The Mo'Nique Show' Canceled (BV Newswire)
Jul 28th 2011 5:41PM I never watched The Mo'Nique Show, but whatever
Mo-Nique does next, beit another radio program
or TV comedy, I still support Mo'Nique 100%.
By the way, she'd be a great guest on DJ Nation.
That entertainment show beats Howard Stern any day.
La Toya Jackson: Michael Was Murdered ... His Kids Have 'Nothing' (PopEater)
Jun 29th 2011 12:44PM If Latoya Jackson still insists Michael Jackson was
murdered, I believe she's been talking to his ghost.
Someday, whenever Dr. Conrad Murray is found guilty
and sentenced to a lifetime in prison or given the
death penalty, she'll learn the truth about Michael
Jackson's death, or she'll have to carry her murder
theory to her own grave.
Best & Worst Dressed At The BET Awards 2011 (BV on Style)
Jun 27th 2011 1:07PM I recently read a looooong letter about
Rihanna & Chris Brown. Look, my responce is
simply this. First of all, I'm not afraid to
admit this, but I've been following Rihanna's
musical career, and yes, each of them won a
few BET Awards, one of them unexpectedly going to
Chris Brown (Duh!), but PLEASE, don't remind us
about what happened with them in the past!
It's all over, now, but not for Rihanna. In fact,
I gaurentee anyone who says otherwise, that her
career will last for the next 20 years, just like
Mary J. Blige, winning a ton of awards on the way
there, while Chris Brown's career will fall flat
in the next 2 years. The fact is, I could really
care less about who wins which award, as long as
I'm having fun watching these awards shows, and
The BET Awards this year was far from a failure.
Rihanna Takes Another Tumble Onstage (Video) (PopEater)
Jun 25th 2011 11:41PM If at first you don't succeed, try, try again, Rihanna!
Rihanna Facing Another 'S&M' Lawsuit (PopEater)
Jun 25th 2011 10:05AM I hope Rihanna creates more music videos in which
nobody else can claim she copied their designs
from here on out, if people can't steer away from
the sexuality and controvercial aspects of them.
All that should really matter is her tracks are
fun and energetic dance beats, S & M included!
Patti LaBelle Sued Over Airport Attack (BV Newswire)
Jun 6th 2011 11:13PM I think this 23-year old is going to lose
his case against Patti Labelle, because he
has no case, and he's trying to make her
look like a fool. At the same time, I don't
really except that she started this fight,
although it looks like she did the right thing.
Critics Try to Shoot Down Rihanna's Violent 'Man Down' Video (PopEater)
Jun 2nd 2011 2:10PM I've heard "Shot A Man Down" before on the radio,
and it sounds as if Rihanna could've chosen to do
a regge version of The Little Drummer Boy for her
first Christmas CD, if she wanted to make one.
"Rum-pa-pa-pum, Rum-pa-pa-pum, rum-pa-pa-pum."
is repeated 10 times. I agree that it's not one
of her better songs, but once music channels like
BET & VH1 Soul get hold of any music video, banned
from the airwaves or not, they'll usually end up
playing them, anyway, only because that's their choice.
VH1 Soul even airs Erika Badu's "Window" video,
and Beyonce's "Why Don't You Love Me?", in spite
of their content, so how far can they draw the
line before it's off the paper? That's the question.
Living Without: Could You Deal With No Cable TV? (Shelterpop)
May 16th 2011 1:48PM Without Cable TV, I think I'd miss the children's networks like
Nickelodeon & Cartoon Network, CN which recently brought
back The classic Looney Tunes Show. Except for Sesame
Street, Wheel Of Fortune & The Price Is Right, I don't know
what else I'd be watching without Cable TV. Just in case 2012
arrives with that end of the world theory coming true, we've
recently renewed TV Guide until the year 2014. Hopefully, we'll
have at least a television set to watch, should that happen.
Songs About Faith: 20 Tunes Rocking Religious Themes (Spinner)
Apr 24th 2011 11:09AM For once, the Top 20 list finally did something
right. They made Lady Gaga's "Judas" #20, and one
of my favorite famale artists, Madonna's "Like A
Prayer" at #1, where she rightfully belongs.
Jennifer Lopez May Ditch 'Idol' for Her Own Show (AOL Music Blog)
Apr 22nd 2011 10:27PM If Jennifer Lopez becomes the next Paula Abdul as
far as her own reality show is concerned, she'll
learn from her mistake and be back on American Idol
in as little as 1 week. I'm not saying Paula Abdul
made a mistake in leaving Idol, I'm just saying
Jennifer doing her own reality competition show
may be her biggest mistake when she's just gotten
to know the other Idol judges, but she'll be back
on Idol when she sees her own show's ratings fail.
