Alas, I am disappointed to see that presidential candidates who are openly guilty of infringement are left unpunished and free to become President. ... All this while Joe Average is having his ass handed to him by the RIAA for trading a few MP3s with friends. Where is justice now?

Dec 12th 2007 10:05AM Did you know that the CDs you buy have a somewhat short shelf-life? The materials degrade over time rendering the CD useless. In many cases, CDs don't even last as long as cassette tapes. Not to mention, they are very easy to accidentally damage. Therefore, you MUST copy the CD in order to retain a working copy of the music you paid for. The RIAA is killing the music industry and sucking the potential out of digital entertainment. The RIAA is your enemy! DON'T BUY CDs OR DRM MUSIC!

Dec 1st 2007 10:20AM I think I'll wait for "Kindle Color". High contrast is nice, but this is not a black and white world. A book never has to recharge and I can read it again 10 years from now without the hassles of Digital Rights Management! I can lend a book to a friend to read, but I doubt I would ever lend anyone a ridiculously over-priced Kindle. Oh, the $400 price tag is just the beginning of the cost of this device. $400 and you still have to buy a book! Haven't people already learned from the music industry that the digital version is no real substitute for the hard copy? Essentially you end up with nothing to show for your hard-earned money. And when's the last time you spilled coffee on your book and lost $400? This is just another service that nickel-and-dimes you to death!
