Mar 1st 2011 9:11AM Come on, how is this harrassment of a child?? Someone trying to sneak something in or out of an area could easily hide it on an innocent child, thinking he wouldn't be searched.
Those kids probably thougjht it was fun.
Stop whining people, if this is what it takes to make our public transportation safe then I'm willing to undergo an "intrusive" search. In fact I have and it's nothing.
If there was another hijacking or bombing you'd all be blaming it on lax security.

Many work hard all year and save towards their vacations. Your referring to these people, who may be less privileged than yourself, as "idiot cruise ship tourists" who are "hated by people who actually visit the islands" is no less offensive or prejudiced than the comments of the people you are calling bigots.

Apr 21st 2010 10:08AM Wow, people will get nasty over any discussion. If some are bothered by the half-filled containers they buy, it doesn't mean they're incompetent or fat as pigs....they're giving their opinion, which is what the whole purpose for this comment space.
With manufacturers using larger than necessary containers for products, we need to pay more attention to the weight of the contents than to the size.
And in my experience, the bag with a lot of 'air cushion' usually has more broken pieces because the chips move around in the bag when they're being shipped and put on shelves.

Apr 20th 2010 2:49PM The day they were charged, the mother of one student was on the news saying it wasn't her daughter's fault, and Phoebe Prince had said bad things about her daughter. She said her daughter cried when she heard she was being charged...but no mention of the daughter crying when she heard the schoolmate she'd been picking on was dead. This parent couldn't wait to balme the victim. It's an example of one reason this bullying problem exists...parents don't hold own their kids responsible for anything.

Apr 16th 2010 9:10AM Why assume the guys are not friends? Yes, black men and white men can be friends. This looks like a show that was set up ahead of time..Why was the ladder there? It took the white guy less than 10 seconds to leave and come back with a ladder. I think this was a comedy routine meant to make people laugh, both black and white, not a sign of racism.
