Next Version of Windows Detailed {Switched.com}
Oct 19th 2007 1:58PM I suppose I am the only one who hasn't had any problems with Windows Vista. I had more problems with XP than I ever did with Vista, but I am excited to see Windows 7, which from what I am hearing in the development community, will be something NO ONE has ever seen before.
NBA Continues to Turn it's Back on Seattle {Fanhouse NBA Blog}
Dec 28th 2006 9:34PM Do you know the first this about Oklahoma City? Have you been there? Are you aware of the growth happening in the OKC metro area?
You are correct, we are a third of the size of Seattle. And in your position, it's questionable to move an NBA team from a large metropolis to a medium-sized metropolis. It has been said that Oklahoma City could never support a professional team, even if it were temporary (this was remarked by a Chicago sports anchor in 1997 when OKC bid for an NHL team), yet we proved our success with the temporary Hornets. The country can hardly believe Oklahoma City is big on hockey, but we've been supporting our CHL hockey team with die-hard fans and sponsors since 1992.
The key here is that Oklahoma is a a state without any professional sports franchise. I don't feel anyone has any room to run down OKC as a contender when Utah... more sparsely populated than Oklahoma... has managed to support the Jazz for over two decades. If the Jazz left Utah, then we can talk.
