He does it all the time though he'll get blamed if the team doesn't win and Labron will have the same situation he had when he left Cleveland.

It is nobodies business what Oprahs relationship with Gayle King is. Besides I'm sure with Elen being openly Gay, Oprah would have made sure everyone knew also. There was no memtion of physical evidence that massueses ever received a text or a picture from Brett Favre. Only that he made comments to them. The Favre people might have paid them off but there was no reason for them to.

Oct 11th 2010 12:49AM What are the female sports reporters trying to do? Have the NFL being played by a bunch of sissy boys who are overly-senstive, governed by passions and emotions not logic and reason, fickle, insecure, immature, small-minded, and lacking will power and discipline?
Going after the football players may be good for womens rights but will it really be good for Football?

Women wanted equal rights where they work and wanted to get out on the field and in the locker rooms with the guys and now the guys are acting like guys these women are wanting them not to be what they are. That is wrong. Maybe these women should have been careful what the wished for before they took the job.

Sep 15th 2010 8:17PM I went to the Website for the church this girl is part of (The Church of Body Modification). The Header on the top had a guys mouth with his toungue sticking out. The modification was the guy had his tongue split (Forked Tongue) which just looking at it made me cringe and imagine how painful that was.

In the Interview the spokesman for the church didn't sound too convinced himself when he explaining how body modification and religion are related and have anything to do with the purificatin of body and soul. I guess if I had my reasons though such as acceptance then I would believe it too.

It reminded me of The Snake Handlers in West Virginia who handle poisenous snakes to show their faith. It shows their conviction in their beliefs. Only difference is a lot of those snake handlers died because of their convictions. You know like in some of those cults that started out as practicing a non mainstream religion.

Sep 15th 2010 7:59PM Are you trying to shame business owners into lowering the standards they expect of their employees just to please a minority of people who choose to modify their bodies. If they lower their standards then they risk changing the businesses image. An image they took years to build up so they can attract the type of clients they need to be successful.

It is all about image in some businesses not to mention things like safety issues and loss of productivity from the distraction it will cause..

I don't doubt that there are those who judge people by the way they look when it comes to hiring but there are legitament reasons to judge their applicants by the way they look.

Sep 15th 2010 3:03PM Reading through the comments I notice a number of business owners saying they WOULD NOT hire some one with a tattoos or body piercings. While some of you that think it is innocent, alright, or it should be acceptable the school is teaching this individual a good leson on following rules and dress codes. If she wears this piercing just because of her religious beliefs she is also restricting her chances for employment in the future. It also shows how the schools and society rules have value and should be followed.

Sep 15th 2010 12:26PM I think allowing piercings for one person or group is just inviting trouble. It would be a distraction for the school that would exhaust the resources that could be better used to educate. That is unless you feel it is ok to waste the money you paid in Taxes to pay for this can of worms.

Not everyone wears piercings for the same reason and this issue is just can of worms the school doesn't need to deal with. If they tolerate letting this girl wear peircings for religious reasons when no one is suppose to be then it won't stop there. Then the school will be dealing with other problems and incuring costs to the school budget, which the tax payers will be paying for.

If you feel letting your kid wear a nose piercing is that important then they should do away with extra curricular activities like sports, band, and glee club just so this girl and others like her can wear their piercings. In this case though I feel the needs of many out weigh the needs of a few.
