A Real Housewife of New Jersey's Bankruptcy Auction (Luxist)
Jul 27th 2010 3:32AM @CANDEE: You are an idiot. First of all sherri is right. There is a standard IRS reporting for for cash withdrawals and deposits of 10k and up. It is supposed to stop drug dealers and money laundering. If you really thought it was 10 million, then YOU need to take banking 101 yourself. The only way your statement could be true is if you were using the 'M' as a roman numeral then your sentence is correct but your argument is invalid. so you FAILED
Gulf Oil Spill Victims in Florida Hit With Phishing Scam (Switched)
Jul 25th 2010 5:48PM And why are people dumb enough to actually fall for this? Isnt THAT the question we should really be asking ourselves as a nation? If the majority of our population didn't feel entitled to something for nothing and actually had an education, these phishers would just go away because they wouldnt be making any money but everyone is looking for that get rich quick idea or for someone else to pull their weight for them rather than actually using their mind and maybe even break a sweat to EARN a better life for themselves. This nation needs to start doing for themselves again and stop sitting around waiting for their government check to come in.
HHS Secretary Sebelius: Health Reform Already Helping Young Adults (AOL Health)
May 17th 2010 5:41PM @ bnbncb: if you did the math that comes out to about $8.78 per person. Doesnt sound too expensive anymore does it? Ayway, I am in no way supportive of the health care bill and primarily because I currently have excellent insurance and will be forced to pay the additional 'Caddilac Tax' when this bill goes into effect to pay for the people who dont have insurance or those that have poor insurance. I am tired of this socialist mindset. When will people start holding themselves personally responsible for their deficiencies instead of forcing others to pay for their mistakes. I know someone from High School I ran into that currently has 3 children from 3 fathers, who is collecting every kind of welfare and kidcare imaginable and told me that she loves it because she doesnt need to work and can be home on Facebook chatting with old friends. The government is paying all her bills and housing costs and SHE JUST BOUGHT NEW CAR!!!! which she felt the need to show me. Is this not rediculous? When is enough enough? I felt like telling her 'You're welcome' when she invited me to a party she was having for her kid paid for at the expense of mr. and mrs. John Q Taxpayer.
3D Blu-ray players coming; time to update yours? (WalletPop)
Dec 21st 2009 7:43AM Umm, the best blueray players will be fine when they change over to 3D. You will simply need the player hooked up to the internet and download the latest firmware. It wont just downconvert it to 2D unless you dont update your player. This article is misleading.
I Got Married at 18 (Lemondrop)
Dec 21st 2009 7:25AM My wife and I got married 5 years ago. I was 22 and she was 21. We were expecting a baby either, although we got one about a year and a half after marriage and we are very happy. We dealt with the whole "you are too young" "you should wait" "you shouldnt rush into marriage" remarks. Even though we had been together for 5 years prior. It is rediculous. People dont understand that some people really do know when they are in love. And as for the financial discussion, we both have good jobs and I own my own business so of course that is a stupid remark usually made by people who just didnt take marriage seriously themselves. They feel like it is something that can just be thrown away rather than a bond that should be worked at very hard. Oh well. Good for them!
Many find Fallout 3 similar to Philip K. Dick's 'The Penultimate Truth' (Joystiq)
Jun 15th 2009 3:46PM What happened to the Fallout 3 DLC for the PS3? Its supposed to release later this month and I havent heard any news on it. Does anyone know?
Tretton says PS3 motion controller can work with existing games (Joystiq)
Jun 12th 2009 3:00PM I hate all these motion controller ideas especially Netal. They are all just Wii knockoffs and I have yet to find a game on wii other than a slew of sports games that uses the wiimote in a fun way. Maybe Im just getting old or something but I grew up on holding a controller. Yes, it only had 2 buttons at the time but it was a controller nonetheless. If gaming was like it seems to be going today, I dont think I ever would have gotten into it. Now it just seems that they are trying to simulate people exercizing and running and playing tennis...well seriously, why dont you just go out and play tennis for real? or run, or play baseball or something? Why are they trying to simulate real life? It is not the same and it never will be. I want games that are fun, entertaining, have a good story and allow me to sit on my ass after a hard days work, drink a beer and play a game.
Ubisoft reveals Ruse surprise (Joystiq)

Fallout 3 DLC coming to PS3 beginning late June, two new multiplat packs announced (Joystiq)
May 19th 2009 1:49PM Yes, I wrote an email to Bethesda about 2 months ago and I actually got a decent response which made me expect them to do something like this. They said in their response that "As of right now, DLC is only available on 360 and PC. Keep playing Fallout 3 for PS3. Thanks" And that was about the extent of their cryptic response so I figured this was inevitable.

Or perhaps it's my Verizon phone that won't allow it without a Verizon SIM. Either way, it ain't much use without data.
