Jul 10th 2008 3:08PM This article is INCORECT and MISLEADING. The delay was not caused by the so called Live rigerous certification process...Right on the criterion website it plainly states that:
"The 3rd and most ambitious FREE software update for Burnout Paradise will arrive later than expected for Xbox 360 players.
We've picked up some additional bugs in our final test phase for the 360 version of Cagney and will delay until these issues are resolved."
Hmmm is Joystiq a little biased and showing a bit of 360 fanboyism?

Jun 30th 2008 3:52PM I have vista with no issues and I work on a PC all day every day. I run serious software every day that requires heavy ram and CPU usage, browse the internet, get my email and instant message without problems. If you have software that was built for XP, odds are that you can download a patch to make it work for vista (that is even if you have to because most software doesnt need the patch) People need to start learning and stop paying attention to the rumors that are flying about vista not working. You will see, once you use it, that Vista is FAR better than XP.

Lets see they said: "they come with a utility called "Time Machine" that allows a user to essentially go back to a moment when a computer was operating properly in case a problem occurs" Umm Windows has that too, its called "System Restore". You just pick a date on the calendar and virtually turn back time on your computer and it uninstalls anything that was installed in that timeframe but also ensures that all your files remain intact. The desktop search being easier is completely an opinion and has no fact basis and iChat is basically the same thing as Windows Live Messenger except that it is less functional. Looks like Will Safer is a Mac fanboy huh?

Apr 30th 2008 1:46PM thats funny, I got the PS3 version and if I am playing and hit info on my TV it says 1080p HD in the upper right hand screen. If I do this with Burnout...it says 720p so you cant say that the TV always says that or anything...it changes depending on what the output from the system is...just thought I would mention that.

I grew up in a poor family and my parents did their best but just couldnt get ahead and when I grew up I busted my hump to get my own family the finer things in life so that my children wouldnt have to grow up like I did and the fact that I wear an $1100 wedding band or a $1300 watch doesnt make me a snob. It means that I am enjoying the life that I have worked very hard to create for myself. I buy my daughter $100 outfits too (she is 2 years old) did that make you mad? You can donate your money all you want and make your life harder than it should be, I will continue to enjoy what I have created for MYSELF. The fact of the matter is that giving hand-outs doesnt solve problems...it creates people who have no desire to do anything because others do it for them. If you want to make something of yourself...there is nothing to stop you...unless people like you continue to provide them a free ride. YOU are the problem...plain and simple. Life is tough...the only true answer is to rely on yourself...unfortunately, there are too many lazy people out there looking for a free ride.

Apr 22nd 2008 9:49PM My wife is a Certified Diamondoligist. I learned everything there is to know about diamonds from her. Yes, D is the highest quality COLOR a WHITE diamond can have. This all changes if you want a colored diamond such as pink, yellow, or black. These are considered Exotic colors and are beyond Z on the color scale. Then diamonds are also graded on Clarity, Cut and Carat. Clarity is the amount of flaws a diamond has. The article says that if you see a diamond with nicks in it is is probibly fake...this is wrong...it may just be a poorer quality diamond with a flaw in it. There is nothing wrong with a small flaw in an average diamond...this is what makes diamonds unique. If you want perfection, you are going to pay a premium for it. Cut sumply designates the style and intricasy of the diamond shape. This is what determines how much 'sparkle' a diamond creates along with the clarity (a clearer diamond will create more sparkle.) Carat is obviously the size of the diamond itself. As for ldysensual saying that some CZ's look 'exquisite" ...well thats just plain sad...the fact is THEY LOOK FAKE. I would much rather have the natural look of a REAL stone than the manufactured look of a CZ stone. Yes it is 2008, however, diamonds and other precious stones and metals have been around for thousands of years and the same rules applied then as now. The real thing is an investment and one that you will cherish always. My wedding band has 8 REAL diamonds in it and I wouldnt go a day without it and get complimented on it all the time and by other men as well. For those who have husbands who dont wear their wedding rings...try buying them ones that you would wear and maybe they will keep them on. ;-)

Apr 16th 2008 9:37PM The game looks friggen AWESOME! It just sucks that the game is smaller in size than I had hoped. Unfortunately I guess you can only fit so much onto a Dual layer disk for the 360...they should have built it to take advantage of the PS3 Blue-Ray disk and then the 360 version could have the smaller map. Why should PS3 owners be punished with a smaller game because the 360 is such a limited platform?

Apr 14th 2008 3:49PM This is great! I have a blu-ray player but what a great idea to help out those that landed on the wrong side of the coin. Buying either format before there was a winner was a natural gamble but this act of kindness will definitely help boost customer approval of Amazon. Good for them!

Feb 27th 2008 3:39PM Open Letter to Microsoft: Please stick to software, you cant make hardware worth a damn. Its sad that so many people have had to waste so much time and money on an inferior product like the 360. My friends and I have all got PS3's now and dispite the frantic posts by diehard 360 fans, they work like a dream and we can all connect and play together. Save yourself some money and aggrivation and buy a PS3 and start having fun again. Isnt that what its all about?
