Last time I checked, the country was pretty much split down the middle. In regards to Bill O'Reilly - those ladies are like vultures waiting to pounce the first opening he gives them. He didn't even give them an opening and they pounced. What he said was true. Muslims DID kill Americans on 9/11. He didn't say the entire Muslim religion but were those zealots Muslim??? Frig yes they were. He's right about this politically correct crap too. I'm so sick of the majority walking on eggshells to make sure they respect the feelings and opinions of the minority . . . meanwhile, the minority is getting all the airtime, all the publicity, all the media attention while disrespecting and crapping on the majority. TELL IT LIKE IT IS, BILL O'REILLY. These big-mouth women feel supported in their bull because their studio is in the middle of NYC so the crowd is a liberal NYC crowd. What they forget is they're being broadcast to people with a lot differing views than theirs. If it weren't for Elizabeth, I'd have tuned out a long time ago. And Joy - for the record, is a big mouth, opinionated, brainwashed, idiot.

If you are pro-choice you believe it should be a woman's right to choose whether to proceed with a pregnancy or end it. Period. And if you are pro-life you believe that it is no human's right to take another's and that life begins AT conception. Period. All the babble and rhetoric and accusations. It's dispicable. Pro-choicers shouldn't attack pro-lifer's for their heartfelt beliefs and vice versa. If there's ever going to be peace on an obviously unsolvable issue - it needs to begin with understanding, not venom.

People may label themselves with that title but if their actions speak otherwise, then they are merely a wolf in sheep's clothing. To condemn the actions of the whole pro-life movement - a movement comprised of millions of people who work diligently for a cause they fervently believe in and who believe in peaceful demonstration and protest, is not just inaccurate but ignorant and harmful.

Support Unicef - support Save the Children -- - - but stay out of politics. I've worn levi's FOREVER. I won't be buying anymore.

May 28th 2009 9:52AM I'm tired of the media bastardizing people who don't agree with gay marriage. It's not about homophobia, it's certainly not about denying anyone their rights. It is about protecting the a timeless institution - plain and simple. No one is denying any couple's right to be a forever couple symbolized by a ceremony with a legal commitment. It's a matter of protecting the definition of a word. Is there any other word, defined in the dictionary, that people will cause a national uproar over to redefine???? What happened to majority rule in America? The media presents the issue like gay marriage is what the people want - it absolutely is NOT what the majority wants but the majority has no voice when the media is promoting a cause THEY deem worthy. If you really , really think this through - it a whole lot of drama about NOTHING. GAY COUPLES CAN FORM A UNION AND HAVE MARITAL RIGHTS!!!!

May 28th 2009 9:44AM A man is a man. A woman is a woman. Equal, same rights, different name. A union between a man and a woman is called marriage and garners certain rights. A union between a same sex couple is called civil union and garners the same rights as a union between a man and a woman. This is NOT about equal rights or civil rights, this is about mincing words. The gay movement HAS rights - equal rights - but is trying to infringe on a long standing tradition. That is not me or the right or the majority of America being intolerant. I do not judge - I love all my fellow man. This is strictly a matter of principle!

Jul 23rd 2008 12:26PM And, I don't agree with that Planned Parenthood comment. Planned Parenthood doesn't get "attacked" for providing birth control. They come under fire because they promote abortion as a form of birth control and there have been several articles, nationwide, recently about Planned Parenthood's tendency to push for abortion (for monetary gain and women dying at the unqualified hands of specific Planned Parenthood doctor's - - -- - google it, the media doesn't like public awareness when it comes to stories such as these) instead of supporting and counseling women to make the best choice for themselves.

Jul 23rd 2008 12:22PM I don't use birth control because I'm Catholic and it's against my religion but this is about a pharmaceutical drug to prevent pregnancy - thereby preventing the need for abortion. Take birth control away and you've opened up an even bigger can of worms in regards to abortion which I AM against and don't believe should be federally funded but birth control???? Please let the irresponsible have birth control!!!!!!!!

Do you realize we have not been attacked since 9/11? There are things that are going RIGHT with the government. Talk about a nation looking at the glass half full. What a bunch of cynics. As for the digital tv - the government is not regulating how you watch tv. Digital is what is being bought. It's the way the market it going. PEOPLE are buying digital. And ya know what? When people are spending their money, that means good economy. The government is recognizing which way the market is flowing and trying to keep the economy running smoothly. Yes - there are homeless people - God bless them. I'm a tax paying, charitable organization donating, doing community service good with my Brownie troop kind of person and the government is helping middle class American's out- like myself - economically which they are also there to do.
