Jul 11th 2008 6:11AM first off, konami is NOT looking to take over the video game market. what they ARE looking to do is get a slice of the pie, which is something i cant blame them for if they are entitled. the people they are goin after are viacom, a big player with money to make this all go away. this wont be anything to even speak on in i a little bit. konami will walk away happy in the end. atari did this LOTS of times with their NUMEROUS patents on controller designs.
i for one dont play guitar hero, and even though i will readily admit that the hand and eye coordination you need for that games high level has got to be on par with some sort of GOD, i DO wish the game and the controller would actually be designed closer to a real guitar. this is mean by HELPING you learn the actual instrument. people say it would have been too hard and boring, but even calculus could be fun if your teacher was a naked, hot chick! the lesson is, its all in how you teach. your hands can get used to anything. i really think they should have pattered the controller closer to an actual ax.

not because i think he cant do a good job as president
not because i think he will be killed.
but simple because this country is messed up with nothing good on the
horizon.
the next president is gonna have their hands full. finishing a war
that another president started. plus a huge deficit and the
environment going to hell. its gonna be messed up.
BUT the last thing i want to see is barack in office because once he
is in, if he somehow doesn't miraculously turn things around { i mean
COME ON people!} everyone will blame HIM! its a job that you have to
be crazy to want in the first place. only a snake can run the white
house now. not a man who speaks honestly. notice that when barack
"gaffes" he does it with truth and not lies! small towns ARE bitter!
they got a right to be so! you should be glad SOMEONE said it! but instead you want to twist words and be lind about the truth. youre silly. the rules are the rules man. Florida and Michigan knew the rules going in and even HILLARY herself agreed at FIRST that they should not be counted.
BUT this was when she thought she was winning :)
NOW, she feels that they should be counted. BUT again, these are rules put in place before the race. barack played by the rules, now she wants to change the rules in her favor. to me, if the votes are recounted, i feel that THAT would truly turn many people away from the democratic process. this is dirty politics. it is unfair to recount the votes. again, HILLARY AGREED WITH THE RULES IN THE FIRST PLACE AND NOW SHE DOESN'T.
people can be allowed to flip flop, because life is change. what you believe in years ago, you may not feel the same way about now.
BUT this do over is a blatant change of rules during the game. IT IS UNFAIR AND WRONG. if obama's camp did not want a do over, then you know what? it is justified because of the rules from the beginning. people who dig Hillary so bad are not seeing how these actions could keep millions of voters from ever voting again. they will lose faith in the process.

what dave and a LOT of people who complain about blacks and their "advantages" fail to realize that if there was TRUE equality in the first place, then affirmative action, naacp, etc, wouldnt even exist. there would be no real need for them. this is life. when you do something to anyone, expect to receive some sort of reaction. the FACT is segregation and extreme racism was REAL then and it is REAL now, its just more covert. black people had to survive and thank god that they did. imagine WHITE people just marching peacefully, then being hit with high pressured water from cops or having dogs sicked on you. barbaric? yeah. but it happened to black people.
so the word "survive" is not being dramatic.
i tell you this much, i would rather have the naacp, al sharpton, barack obama and anyone else looking out for me. because the alternative would be race riots. trust me, thats some shit we dont need. because EVERYBODY loses.
