Stila One Step Makeup - I Tried It! (Stylelist (Main))

Feb 23rd 2010 12:50AM You women are TOTALLY missing the point. Okay, so she didn't mention the sunblock, (I am the biggest advocate for sunblock.....having had skin cancer 4 times my self, I would not leave the house without it). That does not mean that she didn't say don't wear it. And it needs to be one that is separate from in your foundation. Sunblock in your foundation is never enough. As far as price goes, I used to work at Saks Fifth Avenue, and if you think $44.00 is high for foundation, you guys are off your rockers. Women all over the United States pay far higher prices for less every single day of the year. I was selling a one ounce serum (I won't mention the name of the product here) that retails for $500.00, and yes, women bought it all the time. Look at products such as La Mer, La Prairie, SKII, Cle de Peau, Sisley, Chanel, etc. The average price for a mere lipstick in these lines is more that $30 (and more!). Is it right? No. But that 's just the way it is......

Vitamin D And Its Benefits (Shopping Articles Blog)

Feb 13th 2010 12:58PM As someone who is on a prescriptive dose of 50,000 units of vitamin D (once a week), I can assure you that not everyone wants to go in the "sun" to get the "sunshine vitamin." I've had skin cancer 4 times, (albeit Basal Cell Carcinoma, so not that big of a deal....and I had them when I was in my 30's, and am now in my 40's). I can tell you, when I was in my 20's I grew up on the beaches of Southern California, so I was in the sunshine almost every day of my life, as well as working at a tanning salon. "That why tanning beds are so popular" was a dumb comment.....if you ask any women why they are going to Darque Tan or any one of the thousands of tanning salons, I would bet not one single woman would say, "I'm going to get my vitamin D!" Well....not with a serious look on thier face. They go there because of the way it makes them glow!

The 10 Most Annoying Things About Facebook (Switched)

Nov 27th 2009 2:41PM Too bad AOL doesn't do a "The 10 most annoying things about AOL" Number one would be the comments after the articles that have ads in them for how people got laid off, but found a new website and now make a million dollars a month. Or how people are finding love on stupid websites for tall people or websites for insurance quotes. That would definately be at the top of the list for most annoying. And for AOL to say that they have no way to stop this is B.S.

Oprah Shutting Down the Heart of Chicago (BV Black Spin)

Sep 4th 2009 12:08PM I used to love Oprah. She's just gotten to full of her self, and WAAAAY to political. She needs to humble her self, and take it down a few notches before her head explodes. I guess the best thing here is, I'm sure glad she doesn't reside in HOUSTON!
