Mar 17th 2009 8:25PM Yep, Microsoft seems to be completely ignoring Canada, which is kinda hard considering how close the Microsoft campus is to the border. Its silly to purposely piss off a whole country of willing consumers on purpose.
AMD's Phenom II CPU goes on sale online in a curious, quiet fashion (Engadget)
Dec 28th 2008 9:42AM Wow, hey hobo, curious, how much technology can the average consumer get in Iran? I mean, how restrictive is the government about allowing consumer-grade electronics into the country? Are the prices sky-high? I guess its not too hard, considering you got the Phenom II before most people :)

Insignia NS-BRDVD Blu-ray player: now below $200 at Best Buy (Engadget HD)
Oct 22nd 2008 11:44PM "Go to Best Buy and ask for the 2nd generation of this at $249. Its a BDP1500, they didn't even change the remote, its a samsung too. And it has ethernet on it to boot."
Yes, but what does the ethernet port do for you? Other than telling Nielsen ratings what you're watching on Blu-ray, what good is it?
Apple launches 802.11n Airport Express right on cue (Engadget)
Mar 17th 2008 5:54PM Toleraen, think about that for a second, how would putting a gigabit connector make this any faster? If your using it as wireless bridge, the fastest the data will move is at 802.11n speed. And if your using it as a wireless router, the fastest data will move is at 802.11n speed. Either way you're not even going to max out the throughput on the 100mbit connector, much less get anywhere near gigabit speed.

WiFi sniffer turns your DS into a wardriving tool (Engadget)
Jan 23rd 2006 1:36AM Uh, if you're wardriving, doesnt that mean you already have a laptop with a wireless card? which is a much better tool to detect wireless networks. Why in the h*11 would you need a DS or PSP for that matter, give me netstumbler anyday.
