Teens Banned from Trick or Treating (Holidash News)
Oct 29th 2010 9:55AM These are dangerous times. What's to stop a gang of theives from dressing up and coming to invade homes? Nothing is in their way...they wear masks so you can't see who they are. If there are small children and their parents are with them, I think it is okay. Otherwise, the town hall should fund a Halloween Party for all the kids to attend to where they can get candy, make new friends and have some fun. Other than that, Halloween creeps me out with all the crime out in the streets finding their way into the small neighborhoods.

The Beard Is Almost Gone! Brad Pitt Trims Facial Hair (PopEater)
Jun 14th 2010 10:53AM I think beards make guys look old and homeless. Shave the beards guys and look ten years younger. You're not that ugly! Beards are a cover up for self perceived flaws no one else really notices. Beards are unsanitary and food gets in there not even a napkin can remove. Unless you're a die hard outdoor enthusiast and wants to stay there, there is no reason for beards. They were okay in the days of no razor bladles, back in the Middle Ages where kings were poppular. To me, they are not sexy but wall to keep intimacy out. Guys with beards are hiding out and don't want people to know about them, sort of like a privacy screen. I've got a whole story going on about beards, don't ya think?
Your Guy Is Cheap -- But Should It Be a Dating Deal-Breaker? (Lemondrop)
Jun 3rd 2010 12:52AM I think todays men are looking for women who can support themselves, so they won't have to support them! Some of these guys are the gold diggers. They look for women who have their own homes while they still live with their mothers and have saved a ton of money and still expect you to pay your share of the date. This guy I dated for six months belongs to the hair club for men. It costs him $300 bucks a MONTH to get a hair cut/ adjustment. He lives at home with his mother. He seeks out women who have their own homes, so they don't have to worry about supporting them in the future. They end up dating a woman forever because they won't leave their elderly mothers who would lose their home if they didn't have extra income. If there are siblings involved, the guy living with his mother doesn't want to lose the opportunity to get the house as a part of the will of "possession is 9/10 of the law type of deal. Meanwhile, you get to pay for your own dinners and if there is a trip involved, everything is 50/50 while you pay the mortgage and bills for your own house with no one to help you because the guy doesn't believe in marriage. Today, there are more gold digging men out there than I have never seen before in my life. I say, let the man pay for dinner! Let him invest in you if he is serious. If its just for a good time, he will expect you to pay because he doesn't have any long term plans to be your partner. All the benefits of marriage, but you do all the work. And if he get's killed or something, you won't get a dime because the house was never in your name. If you pay for dinner all the time and if he's cheap, you will resent him and eventually despise him for his stinginess. Obviously, it represents a trust issue, and if he won't tell you how much he makes or what his plans for the two of you are, don't waste your heart and your time. Getting over a bad relationship is torture, so don't invest in someone who won't invest in you.
The Controversy Over 'Busty' Barbie and Our Idolatry of Hookers (BV Black Spin)
May 26th 2010 4:40PM Hey, did you check out the woman's dress? It looks exactly like the new Barbie she's talking about? Coincidence? Or is she tryng to be funny. Jay Leno caught on last night when he aired it on his show. Even he couldn't believe it!
New Behind-the-Scenes Film Explores Why 'SNL' Is Not Funny (Asylum)
Apr 30th 2010 3:00PM Yeah, you said it. You must be my age or around that era. They picked people without outrageious personalities who had facial expressions that made you laugh which made the delivery even better. The problem is that SNL doesn't know their audience. Just who are they trying to make laugh? The young people need a writer who can expound on their concerns and what makes them laugh. Us older folks relate to a different type of humor. Lorne Michaels did well with our generation but he is trying to be "hip" with the new one and I don't think its coming through. I think he needs to step down, unless there really isn't anyone else who could be funnier than he. What we need is an "American Idol" for writers and comics!
New Behind-the-Scenes Film Explores Why 'SNL' Is Not Funny (Asylum)
Apr 30th 2010 2:52PM I stopped watching SNL to the point where I don't even remember when it is on anymore. I used to like Lorne Michaels, when he had "The Kids In The Hall". Where are they now? We need outstandingly funny people. I think the funnier they look the funnier they are. Just picking attractive people to do the sketches doesn't make it funny. Save those for the soaps. We need some outrageously funny looking people with a bodacious personality and the ability to extrapolate on their facial expressions. Jim Lovitz did it, Adam Sandler did it, Chevy Chase and Steve Martin did it. We need more down to earth characters that are human cartoons that could make SNL rock with wit, humor, and a sense of what today's issues and concerns are, so that we could all lower our blood pressure and find something to laugh at in this very "significant" society.
Dear Rest of the World, I'm Perfectly Happy (Choosing) to Be Single (Lemondrop)
Apr 18th 2010 2:36PM This is the reason many women are single. Last I heard, it takes 2 to tango. It's unfortunatel that so many single men and women are shortsighted about the future. People need people because that's the way God made us. If we are single we are happy because there is no one to break our heart, abandon or abuse us. Such a lame comparison to those who do have a functional family life with loving partners, family and children. Unfortunately, those are the things that many of singles want, but with the world the way it is, filled with selfishness, self centered-ness and conceit, it makes it difficult for us to find people to even date. I'd rather stay home that be with someone I don't like. I would rather be single than be with someone who doesn't care about me. That doesn't mean I am happy to be single. It means I am happy to not be cxperiencing heartache. I think people should just accept each other the way they are and stop making us singles wrong for being single when the world is filled wih "misfits" who don't want relationships, leaving us out in the cold. All we can do is pretend to be happy, so people who say they are really happy being single are lying to themselves. I just don't believe it. Yes, I would love to find someone special. Until then, there has to be a good reason to live besides being reminded constantly by people who are either bragging or lying about their relationships and who try to make us singles feel bad about being alone. If you don't have a solution, then don't tell us we have a problem!

The Cost of Sharing Entrees - What Can I Get You Folks? (Slashfood)
Mar 26th 2010 3:44AM Todays restaurants want to give you more food than one human should possibly eat. They charge enormous costs like 12-20 per plate and expect us not to share? What??? If they can't make normal human portions, then why not share? Who wants to take home fish and leave it sitting in the car while you're at the movie after dinner? Its either over eat or throw it away. Its a sin to throw away food, doncha know! I went to France and they portion out normal size portions. Walking around the street, there were almost no fat people walking on them. Those that were, were probably from the United States! Come on, restaurants! You don't have to give us enough pasta to feed a small family of four when its only one entree! Why force people to over eat! I think the temptation is so great, that is why obesity it out of control in this country. Sharing a meal is not only HEALTHIER but it is also economical. If you're going to mete out large portions, then expect people to share. Its a sin to throw out food and you know it like I do it never tastes right the next day as a left over. Also, it allow me to eat out more often if I can share with a friend.
Shocking: Kultida Woods Upset, Angry During Tiger's Apology (Fanhouse Backporch)
Feb 23rd 2010 1:24PM What's done is done. I think the media are running out of things to talk about. Gossip is a sin. I think we all have dirty laundry, and not everyone has to see it. I think we should take his apology and move on and stop allowing the media to take control of information that we can't use.
This is like grade school with children all behaving badly. The more exposure we give it the more we encourage that kind of behavior. I dare the media to make a report on people who have done good things in life, be it being married for life, all things that set a good example. We don't need any more bad examples because the unhealthy minded will take this ball and run with it. They hit the news every night with more and more bizarre crimes that were unheard of twenty years ago. Thanks be to Hollywood that keeps giving these people ideas on how to destroy lives, be it crashing a plane into an IRS building or some other perversion of murder, hate, jealousy, and torture. Enough already! Give me something I can benefit from or else PUT A LID ON THE SUCKER! To Hollywood and NEWS Media: The more keep spreading this disease, the more prevalent it will be. It is your choice to spread it but be aware of its consequences that affect everyone. It will NOT make the world a better place for us or future generations.
