Aug 19th 2009 6:01AM Has anyone ever heard of ANY TV station that offers to pay federal taxes for anyone on their shows? He was sent to prison for willfully refusing to file and pay his taxes for 2000! He stated that his finances are devasated; which does not mean he is flat ass broke. But if he is after winning a million dollars; he needs to take financial classes. He is old enough to remember that the two things in life you have to do is: Breath & pay your taxes.

Aug 19th 2009 5:34AM The IRS goes after ANYONE that owes federal taxes.
A completed tax form states how much is owed to the IRS or what will be refunded to the taxpayer. W-4 forms and 1099 forms are sent to the taxpayer and to the IRS (Therefore all income must be reported). Accurately filing these forms are the responsibility of the taxpayer. Unpaid taxes accrue interest plus gross errors, negligence, etc. will carry heavy penalty fines. Mr. Hatch's ego is much larger than his common sense. Apparently, he didn't get the message after 4 years in prison; his responsibility to file his tax forms & pay his bill to the IRS!

Nov 3rd 2008 4:32PM I am praying that McCain-Palin win! With a Nancy Pelosis & democrat congress, Reed & democrat senate; we will be in big trouble! We will not have a middle class anymore. Upper middle class will become wealthy and the lower midddle class will become among the poor. Our government needs the blending of conservatizm & liberal politicians working together for the benefit of all Americans. The mega millions the Obama campaign has spent on his election is sickening during these economic times. The 5 million spent for his TV speech could have fed many hungry children or provided emergency healthcare.
I am registered as a democrat & voting McCain-Palin! I am NOT a racist and have 2 college degrees. After researching facts, I do not believe Obama will do what he promises. He went back on his word about campaign funding, dropped any close friends of many years when they hurt his popularity during this election. Obama touted what a good family friend & pastor Rev. Wright was for 22 years but resigned from his church when Rev. Wright's racists beliefs were in the media. Why did the media go bonkers on the $150,000 spent on the Palin family wardrobe for 7 people but no mention on what the Obama's spent on Michelle & his daughters clothes???

Those of us that do not believe in Obama's prepared, rehearsed, canned speeches are NOT RACISTS! I have many black friends voting for McCain-Palin. BTW We are also college educated. We simply believe that actions speak louder than words. Obama said he would use public funds for campaigning & later want back on his word. Spending 5 million for one TV ad when our enconomy was going down the tube showed poor judgement. He dropped Rev Wright his professed family friend of 22 years when it hurt his election. How long did it take for him stop his campaign to go see his critically ill grandmother? How come he did not even know his aunt from Kenya was in the US illegally and why didn't he make any attempt to help her become legal? Obama has outspent McCain 5 to 1 and has spent more than anyone previously running for President. Yet he claims to be for the middle class?
His actions will eliminate middle class! Upper middleclass will become wealthy & lower middleclass will become poor.

I am a registered democrat but vote for the canidate not just the political party. Obama's prepared, rehearsed, promises are not realistic. You simply cannot make major tax cuts and provide more government freebies.

Both of them are Mavericks and have the guts to stand up for what is right and stick to it. They would not drop a close family friend just to improve public image.(ie Rev. Wright) Palin slapped a state tax on oil for Alaska. They both have sons in our military.

Every man & woman that went to Iraq did so of their own free will. Have you forgotten we do not have a draft? No one wants war, but almost everyone appreciates the horrendous sacrifices our military has made to protect our borders. The dwarf that stars in Little People on TLC was ask to go to Iraq & help a family with 3 dwarf children. He was amazed to see the Iraq children calling soldiers by name and how affectionate they were to our service men & women. Did you forget Chemical Ali and the mass grave? Sadaam having his son-in-laws murdered? He lived in decadant luxury while the people lived in poverty. So instead of bashing Bush, I thank our brave military for giving hope to Iraq.
Over 60 tunnels have been found & sealed off between Mexico & the US that were used to smuggle drugs & people into the US. I thank Bush & the Military for that!

Sarah has accomplished much more than you would care to hear about. But because the sons of John McCain, Biden and hers; you have the right to vote for who you want to.
Pray tell, what has your choice accomplished? All I read on the posts are critizm & slander. It would be refreshing to hear any accomplishments. I wouldn't count dropping out of Rev. Wrights church one of them. To me it showed he couldn't stand by his close family friend & pastor of 22 years.
