Kid Rock Launches American Badass Beer (Slashfood)

Aug 8th 2009 8:32AM To me it is obvious who here has seen a Kid Rock show and who hasn't. It's amazing - even if you don't like his music. He plays for well over an hour - nonstop. I've seen him about 15 times, and never once did he appear drunk or stoned. If he were drunk or otherwise impared, he could not do the fantastic job he does. Go Kid Rock! Oh, and ccould you bring me some beer when you come out west? '-)

Kid Rock Launches American Badass Beer (Slashfood)

Aug 8th 2009 8:11AM I was at Comerica 7/16 and tasted Bad Ass Beer. I LOVE Kid Rock, and he can do no wrong in my eyes. However - they had the beer at the shows both nights, and even sold out at local bars. The beer is not flavored enough to be considered a lager - but has too much after-taste, unlike regular-joe beer. I've heard that squeezint an orange in it helps. ??? Although I don't care for it much - I'll still drink it. I like to consider it and investment going toward Junior's college years.

Jon and Kate Set The Record Straight (ParentDish)

Apr 9th 2009 4:00AM I love watching the Gosslins. I adore the family - Kate, Jon and every one of the children. I don't like the "Mady-bashing", however. I adore Mady - she reminds me of my granddaughter who is also 7. My granddaughter, like Mady, has differents needs and wants from the other children, and I see Jon and Kate recognize that in Mady and respond to it accordingly. I love how Jon and Kate see each child's separate personalities and accommodate them. It would be much easier to treat each child the same.

Mady will be fine when she finds a lifestyle and career that compliments her exceptional personality. She needs encouragement and positive feedback, not a smack in the head!

Even if some don't see the show as a "reality show", this family is living a real life. They may be paid for doing their jobs on television - but that is their job. That is how they support their family. Their kids are their priorities - and I believe they are well cared for.

Relax people - I'd sure hate to look back and see my child-rearing years on television - I'd never come across near as well as Kate does.

Just a note to most of those who have made negative comments here - it is difficult to find any of you credible when your spelling and grammar make your posts difficult to read and/or understand. Maybe turn off the tv and read a book.

Facebook Admits Defeat, Retracts Terms of Service (Switched)

Feb 24th 2009 7:15AM I also have both facebook and myspace accounts. My (3-year-old) daughter also has accounts on both services. I enjoy watching her and her friends have fun and I feel much closer to her when she sends pictures of their parties and such. I much prefer facebook - there just doesn't seem to be as many freaks on facebook.

But learning this news may put a new spin on this safety issue. I guess we should all keep our clothes on and stop displaying inappropriate photos and stories. If you're not doing anything wrong, you don''t have anything to hide.

Sorry this isn't written in "lingo" - I hope readers can understand it.

Facebook Admits Defeat, Retracts Terms of Service (Switched)

Feb 24th 2009 7:08AM Are you kidding me? These are the idiots the former myspacers try to avoid. Are your parents aware you have no idea how to read or write? I think that's a much more important concern in your life right now. Wow - this is really pathetic.

Facebook Admits Defeat, Retracts Terms of Service (Switched)

Feb 24th 2009 7:02AM I wondered why I was unable to log on to facebook today. I've only been a member for a week or so - but the first day I joined, my ex-husband, from whom I've been hiding, found me and began harrassing me. I say get out and delete any info that you've ever been there. I can only speak for my safety, but who knows what could happen because of this.
