Mar 31st 2010 2:57PM I was going to mention the ONE franchise that did work and that was of course Star Wars...I hated the prequels ... but Star Wars fan that I am...I did see them and do own them. But I especially hated Jar Jar Binks ::puke:: As for Spidey, Xmen, God Father parts one through seven hundred and twenty five ::or what ever..never saw a single one of them EVER! never will!:: and especially Aliens...c'mon....once we saw the "Alien" it's over. That is the problem with most movies like that. Keep the suspense....don't let us really see "it" and you might be able to squeeze out something worth seeing. But once you've seen the "thing" it's over. The best CG is in your own imagination! That first Alien had me on the edge of my seat. All the rest of them were, "Oh, that again. Oh, well, Ripley will take care of it".

Mar 31st 2010 1:46PM Sequels never work. Even "Pirates" was lack luster...the first is ALWAYS best! The only reason that I liked Indiana Jones III was that Sean Connery made it work. I love Ford....but the first was the best...the rest were a waste of time! A sequel of ID-4 would be a disaster. If they make it, I won't watch it. And I love Will Smith....but even he couldn't draw me into buying a ticket for something that is forteen years later, was great just the way it ended....and just that...it ended. Please, don't ruin my memory of a great movie with a stupid sequel!

Mar 20th 2010 10:26PM I don't think Palin is Presidential...yet. But I wasn't going to vote for anyone until McCain selected her for the VP slot. The Demicoms rigged it so the "Boy Wonder" would become the candidate (Hillary vastly outweighed him with the popular vote, it was the "superdelegates" that put Obama in) and that put a complete idiot in the top slot. At least Palin was running as second banana. And who cannot now look at Obama and realize what a wasted vote that WAS! I saw through this idiot and anyone with a brain did. Did you hear him speak recently using the word Corps as Corpse? The Army Corpse of Engineering? And this guy is supposed to be educated? Even WITH a teleprompter...the man is an idiot. Palin for Prez? Er...no. Palin for Congress? If Barney Franks can do it...why not her?

Feb 28th 2010 5:59PM When I saw Jolie in the buff in Wanted...I Wanted to puke! Someone give that girl a sandwich! I tried to share my Nachos but they wouldn't go through the screen! She can't act, she DOES have a lovely face...but her body is so emaciated/anorexic and then there's the tattoos that make her look like a walking newspaper! Give me some curves and a healthy body....and some acting lessons while you're at it. Mac would do quite well with ANY good looking actress at his side in a sequel...and there are so many healthy ones to choose from!

Jan 21st 2010 3:04AM Go ahead and bash Leno. But a few facts here first. Leno watched Carson suck up every dime the Tonight Show produced because the guy was addicted to marriage. Marriage to gold digging 20 yearolds who were addicted to alimony! His finances due to his taste for "little girls" were a shambles. Doc and Ed got squat for their parts in the show. When Leno took over he changed that. EVERYBODY connected to his show got a very healthy piece of the pie. Leno knew his show would only be as good as the people who helped him make it work. Letterman is a bitter OLD man, course all liberals are prune faced farts. So, what's new. Letterman is "put down" humor and Leno is upbeat. Conan is just plain NOT funny. I have watched. I have tried to like him, but he is just NOT funny. Anyone who thinks he is must also love the Three Stooges. Because Conan is all three in one. And just as boring to watch. NBC IS to blame because they went SOOOOO Uber left with their NEWS and position on things that they blew what little credibility they had left with REAL Americans everywhere.

Dec 26th 2009 6:45PM In 1959 it was reported on the radio that our scientists had picked up a trasmission on bands used by the Russians. They could discern but one sound. A human heart beat. They were able to determine that it was that of a male somewhere between 17 and 25 years of age. Problem back then? No way of retrieval. They listened as the heart beat continued for several days, then abruptly stopped. That was how they did it with dogs and monkeys back then...after they got their data...they gassed them in space. The monkey will go stark raving mad on an eight month to two year journey to Mars...and probably not that. I won't survive. It will fry like a crispy critter from a microwave oven!

Dec 14th 2009 8:07PM To those who think that ABC, CBS, NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, or CNN do not have an agenda, wake UP! What ever one is saying...ALL are saying. It's a six headed hydra. It speaks with but one voice. FOX? It's the ONLY channel you can get the "other side" of the issues on. Liberals have no moral core, no religion...but politics. It is their life blood. It is their reason for living. It is their God. So, somebody has to take these liars on. And listen up...FOX News takes in more viewers each evening than ABC, CBS and all the NBC's combined. Liberal...the people are catching on! No one is listening to you any more....and we never did suffer from Obamamania! It's a free country for us too....not just you.

Dec 8th 2009 7:34PM No one was a more avid fan of the Beatles than I was. I saw them live in '64' and again in '66'. I was one of those who saw them for the first time on Ed Sullivan...and it's true....the streets were deserted that night. It is said...not one crime was commited in NY City during that hour...EVERYONE found a TV set and was in front of it. They SAVED rock and roll from the likes of Bobby Rydell, Paul Anka, Frankie Avalon etc who had turned rock into a "crooners" paradise. Rock was dead....then....WHAM...from Britain came a string of hits...She Loves You..I Saw Her Standing There...From Me To You...etc But as time went on, they changed from fresh faced kids who had made it big, after nine years of hard work and personal struggle....to Political Icons. The others just went on after the Beatles disolved...but John became the radical "let the blood run in the streets" Icon....as he gave up on the "peace movement". Make no mistake...he became dangerous...a quote "Well, ya know, we tried all that peace luv stuff, ya know, and where did it get us, ya know? I think it's time for something they can't ignore, something much more radical, ya know. We've got to change the world, ya know"....and yes...it would seem all Liverpudlians followed any comment with..."ya know". As for Chapman....he had no particular reason for killing John, he didn't give a hoot in hell that John had said that they were more popular than Jesus ever was...(at that time...the truth!) Not even Billy Graham at that time could fill a stadium as well as they could. Chapman was crazy. Now they are trying to make sense of his insane ramblings years later. I am sure, since his incarceration he has given many reasons for what he did. But he was just a nut, looking for his fifteen minutes...and that is about it. John lost me with Imagine...after that...I knew he was just one more pot head, heroine zoned luny who had too damn much money but preached poverty for all and the ever popular "brotherhood of man" and became a man without a country. When I heard the news...I was stunned...but it wasn't like I didn't see it coming!Even John said as he lay dying, "They finally did it. They finally shot me." He knew he had run out of tolerance as well.

Dec 8th 2009 6:48PM You know, as you cry out for Glenn Beck's Blood once again, I read several blogs today shouting to Obamassiah in the Highest their praises of He who now is in charge of killing Muslims in Afghanistan. They, who once wanted Bush shot for the very same, are now crying out for Muslim blood to be spilled. Why? Because....Obama can do no wrong...even though he ran on the promise that he would have us out of the middle east first thing on being elected. Another promise broken...but then he made so many....how can one keep track? Get your head on straight....stand by your guy if that's your thing. Stand by your president (if he really is the president)....but when the clerk from Chicago does something idiotic ::that's every day:: don't just blindly follow him off a cliff. Tell him when he is wrong, praise him when he is right. Teach him that just because he is a Rock Star President....doesn't mean you blindly agree with everything he does. That is psychotic behavior, the very same that put Hitler into power and kept him there....it coins phrases like "Fealess Leader"..der Fuherer..etc.. GOD ... Oh, check your history...Afghanistan is the place where nations go to die. The Brits, the Prussians, the Russians and many others have spent their economies there and died....now we are going to do the same thing? Someone doesn't like to read history! Ah ah ah!!!! And you would kill me or Glenn Beck....just because we are not blind? Oh, go get an ice cream cone and cool down. Silly.
