Overweight Moms, Children Think They're Thinner Than They Really Are, Study Shows (ParentDish)

Mar 24th 2011 5:53PM Seeing obesity scares me to death. I am a binge eater who is in a special program to learn not only how to eat right, but to learn to read my body signs of whether I need to eat, or will a glass of water be better. I have lost fifteen pounds in three months and will be on this program until I feel confident in my eathing habits. I receive daily support from a dietician and counselor. It is hard to be in this program, but I want to be healthy and stay healthy.

Feb 25th 2011 6:11PM I am 60 and will never dye my hair. I tell people that I have earned every grey hair in my head. I don't understand why women want to fight the aging process.

Muslim Girl Back on Basketball Court After Being Benched for Wearing Headscarf (ParentDish)

Jan 27th 2011 3:35PM If I were to go to a muslim country and live, I would be expected to keep my head and possibly my face covered. If I didn't I would be arrested and possible killed. In that sense, when you become a citizen of america, then the american laws/rules are what you follow.

Muslim Girl Back on Basketball Court After Being Benched for Wearing Headscarf (ParentDish)

Jan 20th 2011 3:59PM When a person becomes a citizen of a country, that person is obligated to obey customs of that country. Practicing foreign customs in ones home is one thing, but forcing their customs on American customs is wrong. Respect the country you live in and follow the customs.

'A Christmas Story' Cast: Where Are They Now? (Moviefone Blog)

Dec 24th 2010 12:20PM This story is such a copy of the way life was for us as children. I can watch this movie over and over and remember friends who fit into each of these characters. I wish todays children could live such a fun filled, memorable life as we did as children.

2-Legged Dog Inspires War Veterans (Pawnation OLD)

Aug 21st 2010 7:54PM It is amazing to see Faith able to get around on her back legs. It was cruel to see her hot and panting in the park and when she tried to lay down in the shade of the cameraman, the person moved. Faith is a wonder, but please don't use her to get attention on the owners.

Austin wants to ban sale of certain kittens and puppies (WalletPop)

Jul 16th 2010 3:34PM There are so many puppy mills and back yard breeders. I see no problem with a s/n clause in the sale of pups.. Back yard breeders and puppy mill breeders will not stand behing their pups/dogs. Petland won't give out info on the pups backgrounds and/or breeders. Petland will tell people that the pups are bred from champion bloodlines, but cannot back the statement. The average person would be just as happy with a shelter dog as they would a registered dog. The only difference between the shelter dog and purebred is a sheet of paper.
