'Will Marry for Health Insurance' -- One Woman's Desperate Quest (Lemondrop)

Feb 9th 2010 8:50AM She mentions illegal immigrants will marry to become a citizen. Why doesn't she renounce her American citizenship, go become a Mexican citizen and come back as an illegal alien? She'll get everything for free.

Cinematical Seven: John Travolta Gone Wild (Cinematical)

Feb 7th 2010 3:11PM The man is an actor. I would think that he would like to test his abilities to not be locked into certain roles. He's no Jack Nicholson, but he has shown to be a versatile actor. I don't think any actor is excellent in all of their movies. When you look at his work over time, he does prove to have staying power. Not many can boast his amount of successes.

Five Things We Don't Like About the Kardashian Diet Commercial (PopEater)

Feb 5th 2010 9:42PM The only thing wrong with this ad is, I seriously doubt that figure is the result of this diet. As for being sexually suggestive, yes, that body is definitely sexy. She doesn't have to do anything suggestive though. She's just blessed.

Admit It, Goodell: Rooney Rule Is a Sham (Fanhouse - Jay Mariotti)

Jan 13th 2010 6:26PM It's not easy telling a bunch of billionaires how to run their business(toys). Like it or not, it's their money and no one should tell them how to spend it, or who to spend it on. I understand the rule. Now, let's take a look at how the country as a whole has changed in the last fifty years. There was a time when minorities couldn't get any type of jobs other than a maid or janitor. Look around. We now have a black(well part black), judges, lawyers, politicians of all races, including spanish, oriental, etc. It seems if society is forced to do something, they'll rebel at first. But in time they'll realize on their own there are times when a minority hire can be the right decision. Lovie Smith, Tony Dungy proved it. Ozzie Newsome has done a stellar job behind the scenes in Baltimore. Mariotti!!! Let it develop on it's own merit man. Society has come a long way and it's only going to get better.

Bradford Effect? Snead Declares for NFL (Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog)

Jan 8th 2010 1:44PM Sanchez comes to mind here. He started 16 college games and look how that worked out. It's a gamble, regardless of what the gurus say.

Perfectly Imperfect Finish to Patriots' Flawed Dream (Fanhouse NFL Blog)

Dec 30th 2009 2:19PM Good story with alot of caveats that had nothing to do with the game itself. There was an interview with Brady just before the game, where a Giants player predicted the Patriots wouldn't score more than 14 points. Brady laughed when he was told of the comment. Final score...........17-14 Giants. He wasn't laughing after the game. I do agree, it was one of the best games I've ever seen. No, I'm not a Giants fan. Just a fan of the game.

Ochocinco: Revis Couldn't Cover Me in a Phone Booth (Fanhouse NFL Blog)

Dec 30th 2009 1:45PM Like him or not, he is entertaining. Whether Goodell likes it, doesn't seem to matter to him. I respect this guy for trying to keep the FUN in what is supposed to be a Game. He's the last of a dying breed. And the game is turning into big business, leaving the fun part a distant memory.

Are the Jets Underachievers? (Fanhouse NFL Blog)

Dec 29th 2009 8:33PM The quarterback is why they're not winning games. Their future is relying on "Sanchise". He is still a little raw.
