Sep 26th 2008 10:17AM I am a school bus driver, in my 12th year. I think the person who should be held responsible for this is ---- the BUS DRIVER! Sure, the teacher screwed up first when he/she put the child on the wrong bus, but maybe the teacher was a sub. The child should have never been left alone, abandoned, at a stop that was not theirs. Even if the driver was a sub, there is just no way that a responsible person would do that. The driver needs to be severely reprimanded, maybe even fired. There are some things that you just do not do as a driver, one is not leave your bus without checking it for kids who are asleep or hiding, and the other is leave kids at a stop that is not theirs or where there is no one home!

Feb 27th 2008 11:06AM Whatever happened to parents watching out for their children? Granted, we cannot be everywhere all the time, constantly watching, but we can monitor them. My child does not have a computer in her room, and anytime I want to see her myspace, all I have to do is say so. If I see something I don't like, then we take care of it. We are the parents, and what we say goes in this house. She knows that there are consequences to her actions, and that there are all sorts of unsavory people in the world. If you would not invite them into the house, then you don't invite them onto your computer.

Luxury Hotels Lose The Bible (Luxist)

Nov 21st 2007 10:54AM The Bible's in hotel and motel rooms are place by Gideons. They are puchased thru priate donations to this group who wholly believe in what they are doing. My babtist church has a Gideon speaker every year who tell us stories of how the Holy Bible has helped people. Some are brought back from the brink of despair, and have even accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their saviour. Some people had actually contemplated suicide, but chose to read a free Bible place by the Gideons and that saved their life.

Why don't they remove the access to the porn channel, or something, instead of God's Holy Word?

We, as a country and a nation founded on Christain beliefs, need to "take back" what is being ripped away from us. The people who don't "believe" are ruining it for those of us who do.
