The greatest theoretical physicist of our time, Stephen Hawking, also has ALS or Motor Neuron Disease as it is called in the UK. He was diagnosed with it at age 21, back in 1963. With the help of his family, and wife, 3 children, and a whole lot of friends and associates, he manages to publish some amazing pieces of work in his field of study.

So don't give up hope, try to keep a positive attitude, and accept the love that those around you are willing go give.

Let's hope that this break-through in stem-cell research will ultimately solve the ALS problem and other diseases affecting people all over the world.

Big Slick. That's what Texas Hold'em calls the Ace-King opening deal. Now, it's also called the Anna Kournikova (AK); "Looks good in your hand, but hardly ever wins."
If she didn't have Enrique, she'd have someone else to live off of. She never won a major tennis tournament, and she ain't getting any better (at tennis) as the years go by.
All she's got is her hot bod, and I imagine that's going to get better with age.

First we need to see if she does as well as Ruben or Fantasia. Both have been successful, more so than Taylor Hicks, but not as much as Kelly or Carrie.
Hopefully she's not a whiner like Fantasia.

May 13th 2007 4:04PM I don't see the problem. I enjoy all of these foods. I don't understand people with GERD, acid-relux or lactose intolerance. I guess I should, since eggs, even the smell of them cooking, sets off a gag reflex in me.
I like Oreo/Jalapeno sandwiches...it's the sweet-hot & spicy mix that I enjoy.
I do agree with one of you on this. This was a 'misleading title' story. This story had nothing to do with hard-to-digest foods. That list would have included corn (the cellulose covering over the kernal is undigestable) and black pepper to name 2 of the most common ones.

Jackson is a racist, pure and simple. Remember the 444 day Iran hostage crisis. Jackson negotiated the release of the minority hostages and left the 'white' hostages behind. He is anti-states rights, saying the States lost that privilege after the War Between the States.This means he wants the government in your back ocket on everthing.

I've never much liked Imus, and this 'ho' comment by him isn't so much the cause of the trouble, but the fact he preceded it with 'nappy-headed'. That puts the comment solely on the black players. I believe there wouldn't have been as much flak if he had just said 'ho'.
