When Will Tourists Return to Egypt? (AOL Travel News)

Fired Packers Tie Guy Gets Better Offer (AOL Jobs)

Jan 26th 2011 2:17PM I have the highest respect for the manager that fired that salesman. I own my own business and depend on the public to use my services. Chicago fans after seeing my salesman wearing the Packers tie will not take it out on the wearer, they will take it out on my business and not buy their car there. That will hurt all my salesmen, office staff, mechanics and even the banks I do business with. Those that oppose the managers action probably work in a position where they don't depend on commissions or deal with the general public. I guess the best way to say it is, when we pulled out of Vietnam, how would you feel if a salesman in a car dealership wore a tie with the flag of the North Vietnamese on it? Makes you think doesn't it?

Christmas list: five things I want from the airlines (Gadling)

Dec 26th 2010 12:38AM With all the nonsense that goes with airline traveling, I've turned to driving whenever possible. Even if it means spending the night in a motel, ITS WORTH IT! The security people's attitude must be the result of being beat up in school. They think they are cops and will exercise their little bit of power to intimidate the passengers. I have no beef with the FA and understand if they seem at times a bit out of sorts. Some of the passengers make me want to give them a right hook. I use one of the NYC airports and the attitude of the police patrolling the outside of the terminals is a throwback to the Nazis. They yell when you drop off people at a terminal. They scream at you if you take more than 30 seconds to load your car and then threaten you if you don't move the car EVEN IF YOU DIDN'T FINISH LOADING THE CAR! I know it will never happen, but if everyone stop flying for just a month, maybe attitudes would change. But as I said, it would never happen.

Kid Gets Book for Christmas, Throws Tantrum Because, C'mon, A BOOK? (Urlesque)

Dec 24th 2010 2:02PM Sterilize the parents, they shouldn't be parenting. Stop them at one kid now. Look at the damage they did to that poor kid.

Blake Edwards, Prolific 'Pink Panther' Director, Dies at 88 (Moviefone Blog)

Dec 17th 2010 12:16AM My sympathy goes out to the family of Blake Edwards. He brought us "Peter Gunn" one of my favorite TV shows of all time. He along with his talent will be missed.

Undercover Boss: Great Wolf Resorts' Kimberly Schaefer is Show's First Female CEO (AOL Jobs)

Oct 4th 2010 3:50PM The CEOs and their executives make decisions that the "Little People" are forced to do no matter how stupid or how hard those decisions are. After the show, to ease the guilt they have for making peoples lives a living hell, they throw the "Little People" a bone or two, then brag to their family and friends how nice they were to the hired help. Of course they would never lower themselves to do a job like that, and they would never allow any one of those workers to step foot in their home, this show is only a game to the CEOs that sign up for it. In a sense they're just "slumming" for a day or two. You'll never see a CEOs son or daughter working in the same capacity as the hired help, not even to learn what the business is all about. The big question is, how do these CEOs sleep at night?

One Hit Wonders: Great Ideas, Bad Cars (AOL Autos - Translogic)

Sep 26th 2010 11:46PM What us BIG Americans need is another mini car. Big cars, big trucks and SUVs sell well in the US because overall we're big people. My 1955 Pontiac 287 cu in V8 gets over 23 miles to the gallon on the highway at 60+ miles per hour. That car can carry six big people and a huge amount of luggage. Why can't we build a duplicate car like this, add the computer, fuel injection and other fuel efficent gadgets to it to get even more MPG? How about duplicating the '55 or '57 Chevy? Won't sell? Look at the Mustang, Challenger and Camaro before you answer. Good for sales, good for the people buying it and good for America.

That Movie EXISTS?!: 'Titanic II' - Another Big Ship, Another Epic Disaster (Moviefone Blog)

Sep 26th 2010 4:26PM Didn't anyone hear of the film "Titanic 2000?" It is a classic film about a second Titanic ship. It stars Tammy Parks, Michael R. Thomas, John Fedele, John Link and Tina Kraus. It is a great movie, so why is this story hitting the Net and there is no mention of Titanic 2000 film of years ago? Sounds like bias reporting to me.
