Why Jay Leno and David Letterman Hate Each Other (PopEater)
Jan 28th 2010 10:19AM The article seems accuate to me. I always suspected there was more to the feud between Leno and Letterman. Carson had no relationship with Leno. Leno never had Carson on the show or even mentioned him until his death at which time he did a big tribute to Carson. I remember an associate from the early Leno days writing that he was furious that Leno pretended to be loyal to Carson as he was not and never contacted him once aftere he got the job. Carson was writing jokes and sending them to Letterman just months before he passed. I always found it obvious that Letterman and Carson continued to have a close relationship. Not the case with Leno.
Now It's Personal: Jay Leno Jokes About Dave Letterman's Marriage (PopEater)
Jan 21st 2010 3:15PM As a fan of Johnny Carson, I wonder why it was that Johnny stayed close friends with Letterman and had no relationship with Leno. We don't know these men personally. Carson knew both of them personally and made a clear choice. I wonder why.
Why We're on Team Conan O'Brien (PopEater)
Jan 11th 2010 2:34PM This is what Leno does. He worked the system to get the Tonight Show from Carson who wanted it to go to Letterman. Letterman and Carson remained friends. It is my understanding that Leno never had contact with Carson again after getting the show. I find him shallow.
Fox, Tiger, and Christianity: A Defense of Brit Hume (Politics Daily)
Jan 9th 2010 3:50PM I suppose now that Brit is a commentator rather than a journalist, he can express his views. However, I don't find it appropriate to comment, judge or tell my friends what religion they should be. It is a personal decision and none of my business. My favorite Christians don't judge others, don't comment on their religious beliefs and live their lives as good people which is likely the best way to show others the greatness of Christianity.
Meet Marc Mezvinsky, Chelsea Clinton's Fiancé (Politics Daily)
Dec 2nd 2009 11:30PM Wow--two young people getting married. Chelsea has been extremely private and we really know nothing about who she is. Yet, posts filled with judgments, snide comments and dooming their marriage. Some can even see that he has no soul, all from a picture. I wish them the best!
Tiger Cancels Police Interview Again (Fanhouse Golf Blog)
Nov 28th 2009 4:23PM If he cheated he is a pig, but if she beat him with golf clubs she is crazy. Both are culpable.
James Woods Takes Hospital to Court in Brother's Death (PopEater)
Nov 11th 2009 1:30AM Our healthcare system is a mess. Absolutely, lifestyle is contributing to our failing health. Er's are understaffed and corporations use too many non-physicians. My husband is a physician who would never not act immediately on an abnormal EKG. However, he has a difficult time in his profession as there is far too much pressure to herd patients. Corporations expect docs to move as many patients through as they can per day and if they don't they won't be around long. Getting to the bottom of medical issues can be time consuming. There are certainly some not so great doctors, but even the good doctors who truly want to do right by their patients are being pushed to see as many patients as they can per day. Perhaps Wood's brother would not have ended up in the ER if his primary care physician was allowed time to conusel him on lifestyle and get a good evaluation of his health. Just not the case in corporate medicine!
The Point: Palin-Johnston Feud Heats Up (Sphere Lite)
Oct 29th 2009 4:10PM I agree that Levi is a punk, but doesn't it seem silly that a mature woman would even respond to this crap. Entering into a pissing match with a young punk who no one really cares about seems like a huge waste of time.
What's the Proper Punishment for the Parents of 'Balloon Boy'? (Politics Daily)
Oct 19th 2009 4:15PM I had trouble buying this early on. When I listened to the experts questioning how a balloon that size could get that kind of lift with much weight combined with the parents history of seeking publicity, I expected this to turn out much like it did. THe parents can keep the kids. THere are children living in far worse environments and removing children from their parents is very traumatic. However, this was a very expensive publicity stunt and taxpayers should not have to pay for it. The parents should be required to take a parenting class and pay for the entire cost of their stupid adventure. News agencies should report very little and no one should interview these people on tv shows. End of story.
David Letterman Apologizes To His Wife: 'I Got My Work Cut Out for Me' (PopEater)
Oct 6th 2009 1:35PM Sexually manipulating his staff, where did you read that? The women appear to be willing participants. Women are often awed by money and power and are more than willing to get involved with attached men. I feel sorry for Regina but this is really none of my business. And, to all the women whining about this, make sure you NEVER get involved or go after an attached or marrried man. When women won't play anymore, men can't cheat.
