And like Amazon, Google does not have the cooperation of music labels, which means that users cannot do certain things that would legally require licenses, like sharing songs with friends and buying songs from Google.

Samsung brings Apple patent suit to US soil (TUAW.com)
Apr 29th 2011 4:25AM Samsung said it had asked the court to ban Apple from using the patents and to pay cash compensation. Apple used technology that allows typing letters on a touchscreen panel and switching screens without permission from Samsung, the statement claimed.
Samsung sued Apple last week in South Korea, Japan and Germany in response to Apple's accusation that Samsung copied the iPhone's design, trademarks and trade dress in the Galaxy series of smartphones.
